Lol, some of it isn't even thought out. They just go CRAZY WITH THE SHAPES AND COLORS and bam! There's a piece that would make Picasso proud. But after visiting the Museum of Modern Art on San Francisco last summer, I realized that a lot of thought is put into pieces sometimes. There was this one sculpture that had about 200 black poodle statues methodically arranged around a clay baby. It was... odd. Yet after you read the museum description of it, it made sense.
I thought it was mostly spontaneous. WHO KNEW LOL

NO BBY I PROMISE IT'S JUST GOIN' WITH WHAT YOU FEEL LIKE.

That stuff confuses me IRL because I'm not a super deep thinker/have trouble being creative at times, but I love to see it nonetheless.
    YOU'RE SO PHILOSOPHICAL, BBY. <3

I really like the abstract and the poem goes really nicely along with it.

Hearing that come from you, Poppy... It makes me want to jump up and do a happy dance. If I end up failing at my halfway-sort-of-realism/animu/cartoon style, I'll draw surreal/abstract JUST FOR YOU BBY.

You can always look on google and type in some of the words from the poem. It might lead you to the original author or poet. It would be nice if you could give credit to whomever did it ya know =D I agree with your idea of the whole abstract art thing. These kinds of pictures really transpire creativity and mood. They have the most meaning. I like how the birds are coming out of her head, it's like she wants freedom. Freedom from being angry, or maybe she wants freedom from the war
