Maybe you could make his hair entirely black, and just put one streak of each color: red, yellow, green, & blue ^^
And you know what? Most guys look friggin HAWT with long hair, so I would just give him a flat chin if he seems too feminine

Aw! I like the hair. Dunno how old your OC is but younger male characters always seem to appear a little bit feminine.
