of all the things, i believe the head needs more work, the proportions are off, try a reference like i said. and no offense but youre friends are doing you more harm than good by not encouraging you to try and improve. the coloring leaves much room for improvement, try some shading and stuff.

Aw, pupies! Newborn pups are one of the cutiest things I've ever seen. Spazing colored penciles or not, your coloring job is nothing short of awesome.
