    yep I know a lot of kanji. I took three years of it in high school plus I lived in japan for 10 years. anyways yea they use katakana for their name as some kind of writing slang. to them if you use kanji a lot it means your "sophisticated".

    Well, I'm not a japanese... But I'm learning japanese from anime and stuff... By the way, I like katakana better than hiragana. Kanji's so hard and I only know "Maru", "Haku" and "Kokoro". Y'know kanji? That's cool.

    Actually people in Japan like to use katakana for their first name. I don't know, its just some kind of style for them them.

    oh, my bad>.< yea I spelled otaku wrong, but sasuke's spelled right... I even had someone came in to check it just to make sure i wasn't blind or something^.^ oh well thank you for the commments.
