Thanks for the comments, yes it is done with pencil and no he didn't have the symbol at this point. This picture is set just as he is being attacked by his uncle. He gets the tatoo after he kills his uncle.

yeah gaara has a very deppressing past yeah he doesn't get his tattoo until he like kills his uncle but that might have been before this but you know you can never tell

actually gaara 1919, i don't think he has the symbol yet but then i could be wrong. i love the pic and it shows gaara's feelings. ^_~ keep up the good work!
