You didn't fail, you did a great job. And I think that everyone is right. Maybe you should shade it. Sometimes, shading is even better than coloring. Like if it was a depressing picture, you may want to shade, instead of color it. Like this one. Miroku is kind of upset, because of the curse upon him, but he is concentrating too. Anyway, keep it up, I would love to see more! ^_^
