Since the lyrics are from a song that was done as a cover for Only Hope by Switchfoot, which goes back to 1999, it's definitely well within the requirements for the contest. :)

I didn't give a specific date since how old the band or artist is, will depend on how old the person making the wallpaper is. For example, if you are around 20, you might be going back into the 1990's. If you're only say 14, then earlier would be around 2000-2004.

The only thing I don't want to see is stuff that came out in the last three years. However, if the band was established before that, just make sure you don't do something like adding lyrics from a recent song they published.

For example, the band Linkin Park. They started in 1996 and are still active. So anything they did before is fair game where say their newest album: Minutes to Midnight which came out in 2007, would be too new. So you could still do them, just make sure the theme of the wallpaper doesn't center around their most recent work.

Creative challenge idea... I just wish you'd be a little bit more specific about how old you want the band/artist/song to be. Do you mean like around the year 2000 or as old as 1966?
