Concerning you friend, I glanced at the comments too and they're not inappropriate, hateful or threatening; I think they're taking it too far. Personally, I have absolutely no idea whom you're talking about, and they should be thankful for their anonymity (even though people on TheO are generally friendly and don't flame).

You have the right to speak your mind in this mature way. The best thing to do is just ignore them completely. Throughout your whole life, you will meet other people who insult you/your mom for no particular reason except self satisfaction. But as long as you have your friends and other people that you are close to, those kind of people mean nothing. Just stick with your friends, have a good time and ignore the ones.

I love this card!!! <3 Gorgeous colors and the typography is so simple yet bold and dynamic. I love it all. And the words...yes. Truthful. I'm saddened again to hear about what happened. Again, cause I'm friends with her, too. :( And I don't think I said anything mean or anything with my comment before. If I did, I apologize to her...but I was just giving my opinion on the situation. I don't think anyone said anything that deserved a report. There is freedom of speech, and people are able to express it through art. You were affected by what happened, so you put it out there in a card, but you never said anything demeaning and neither did we. I'm sorry again any of this happened at all! *hugs*

First off, both cards are amazing and convey a great message :) Sorry I couldn't comment sooner on your other card. School is keeping me busy. I am sorry to hear that a friend had said those things :(Then they flagged it. I think you did what was the respectable and responsible thing to do. You didn't point fingers or say names. You just spoke what you felt and what inspired the card. Okay so enough with the heavy XD I have to admit that when I read the words to this card that the beat to Survivor automatically got in my head and still is lol. Great lyric choice. Take care

I've already made it clear, more than once, that so long as people aren't pointing names and are keeping it civilized then it's fine. I only take exception when they put that username out there. All that does is lead to flaming among members and it's just not pretty at all.

So you really don't have to worry about it. Explaining what happens like you did in the previous card is fine. You were more than polite enough in my opinion. You didn't even say if the friend was one in regular life or online either.

Anyway, I can relate a bit because I have people close to me that I wouldn't tolerate it if others were insulting them openly. Or rather I would not stay friends with them at that point. I fully expect some of my friends to not get along but I do expect them to keep me out of it.

The card you created for that paticular message really fits. And the way the larger text stands out fits it perfectly.
