so say the official reviewists of this manga. My opinion--yea. he may very well be right. but maria DOES find himself raped by a few GUYS in a few doujinshis. I dunno.... that seems a bit vulgar for pretty ears, so if your disgusted by this information, you might want to forget it by reading my next post on maria-sama ga MITERU instead. THAT'S the REAL yuri. ;)

Alright. There seems to be a major "triangle" going on in the manga/anime of Kampfer. Sure, it a guy turned into a girl scenario(which seems rather overdone and popular these day) but does that mean the girls always, ALWAYS have to fall for the guy? Even IF it's only his female self? ;)
That what happens here. Shizuka likes the guy version of him. So does Akane. His childhood friend does also. But then there's the girl he has the major crush on--she hates him as a guy, but loves him as a girl. a major twist to an overdone styled manga. its pulled off better than most though. I'd rate this an 8/10 star manga, which is definitely recomended to people. ;P
Akane's a badass gunner girl with a thing for cussing people out but is easily embarrased.
The main guy's easily embarrassed, easily falls in love, is clumsy, pretty much just weak and useless. even in his girl-fighting body.
shizuka weilds some pretty awesome "blades on chains" and she's cool and collected.
childhood friend: flustered easily, straightforeward and spontaneous. also stronge, and wierlds two guns.
As far as i am--im only half through the series. (I'll tell ya if i like the ending, but im sure i will). But it's a pretty damn fine story. check it out. I'm sure you'll like it.
Next I'll be looking up Maria-holic, a yaoi. So if you're all for THAT stay around. ^^

Everyone thinks I'm like Haruhi at my school. THOSSSE people who I've shown the manga and/or anime to at least do. (Heey, wonder why? Bet its cuz I'ma pushy crazy bitch. ;p ). Well, anyway, I have a girlfriend, who everyone thinks is like Yuki. (She's quiet and ... well, if you know The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, than you know how SHE is). Muuust say---they make QUITE a couple idea in the anime. ;) Look 'em up if you don't know them. I'm sure you'll be moderately satisfied.
The aggressive pushy attitude vs. the mild tolerating one. Do they balance each other off? I'd say so. Hell I'd vote to see a movie made of this couple. ;)
