XD Yeah they do pick their owners. Me and my friend wanted to buy a Harry Potter wand. Just for the fun of it, but we are fans of the series. But we didnt have enough money.....they are so expensive! I am glad you got a new one and for free which is even better
Aw thanks for the condolences on my wand. as luck would have it, I got a new one! It rolled under my feet at the Yule Ball (I nearly broke my neck on it). I suppose it is true that the wand picks the owner!
