Howdy! I'm Yume, also known around TheOtaku (and other parts of the net) as Bulma. I have been a member of TheOtaku since 2003-08-30.

I'm generally ranked in the 50's out of the about 8 1/2 thousand people here. I'm awesome like that.

I really freakin love making wallpapers!

I am a Star Wars fanatic in ways that are probably unhealthy.

I am saving myself for Keanu Reeves.

I might write about my day with the Anime Club (I am their advisor at the college I work at), my son (nicknamed) Trunks, maybe the experience I had at McDonalds for lunch. Who knows? I tend to be a bit random at time. All are welcome.

I have returned from the Bahamas

You are all officially graced with my presence once again.

I am off to the Bahamas! and my moms PhD!

Yep that's right! I am going on a cruise that will last until Monday.

Man oh man is it gonna be fun!

Also, my mom got her PhD this weekend. Yep, she is all official now.

Here is a pic of my necklace (on me) from Friday night at (one of) her graduation parties. I love my necklace so much. More than that though - I am so proud of my mom!!!

Fanboys - the movie

So I went to see it today. It was epic! I laughed until it hurt because I swear that in the characters on the screen (read: Star Wars rabid fanboys) I saw myself and my own friends. I think all of us Star Wars diehards can identify with the people in the movie.

Also, the cameos were amazing! Wow, I kept being more and more surprised at who showed up in various roles!

I suggest anyone who has a passionate love for Star Wars go see this movie. Even if you only know someone who has a passionate love, go see it - you will be able to find a main character and say "Oh wow - that person is just like *insert your friend here*"

Anyhow, I traveled 6 hours with 3 friends to see this movie. I wouldn't give that back for anything. This was amazing.

my Jedi has returned

After 5 years of absence, my Jedi has returned. My heart is soaring to heights long forgotten.

Do not judge abused women!

Everyone is so up in arms about Rihanna going back to Chris Brown. Women are really trash talking her, so are the men. I am truly appalled at the level of nastiness.

I admit, I am very saddened by her decision (if in fact the news reports are true). However, I do not judge her.

None of us know what kind of mental games her mind has been through. People tend to forget that men do not smack around strong women. Men hit women who have been broken and torn down mentally and/or emotionally. By the time a man is hitting a women, she is a shell of herself.

How dare anyone presume to know what goes on in the mind of a battered woman unless they themselves have been battered.

I am so disappointed in the level of hostility I have heard about Rihanna. People are forgetting that Chris is the bad guy here. I honestly heard someone say today "Well, she went back. If he keeps smacking her around it's her own fault."

REALLY? So now it's HER fault that HE can't control his temper? SERIOUSLY??????
