I might write about my day with the Anime Club (I am their advisor at the college I work at), my son (nicknamed) Trunks, maybe the experience I had at McDonalds for lunch. Who knows? I tend to be a bit random at time. All are welcome.

front page Narcissa cosplay

So I dressed as Narcissa Malfoy last night for HBP. Those of you with my facebook or myspace can see the pics. Me and a friend of mine were on the front page today for our costumes. I took him out with an Avada Kadavra and that's what they featured. Was awesome.

Twilight Zone marathons are made of win!

Been doing it all day today, and probably will again tomorrow. I am a happy lady.

Things are nearly back to normal..

Well, as normal as they can be. We, as a family, are pulling together and coming through this.

I am gonna go back to work next week. I'll save those last few vacation days for something else. Probably Dragon*con.

Likely can't afford AWA this year since I now have to help keep the house afford, but that's alright. A place to live is way more important than a convention anyhow. I won't miss Dragon*con, so it's all good.

Anywho.. hung out with the 501st last night. Nothing like hanging out with Storm Troopers, TIE pilots, and Lord Vader himself. Sweet.

Sorry for the lack of updates - my stepdad died..

My Finland trip of 3 weeks turned into 3 days. I received word that my stepdad died and rushed home to America immediately. It has been a long and rough week for my family (it was very unexpected, he was only 54). Hopefully we will find some sort of normalcy again and I can jump back in here like normal. I appreciate the support some of you have already shown. I have the greatest friends in the world.
