Hello, and welcome to Yamcha's Anime universe! Some of you may know me from visiting my Myotaku page (username: Yamchaa), but if you havent visited or dont know me, then thats cool too lol. Im a big anime fan and ive been one for as long as i can remember. I collect anime movies, magazines, figures, all things related to anime, and im proud to say that i have a pretty hefty and diverse anime collecion which is usually constantly growing, and with this new world i hope to make new friends and spread my knowledge of anime to whoever may need it ^_^
Im sorry i havent posted this week, Monday i ended up doing a system restore on my computer, and i had to end up using my recovery discs from back in 2004 when my computer was new. So once my computer was restored, it was basically as if i had just bought it - which was both good , and bad because it meant that i was going to have to manually update Windows Xp and my AOL so that it would properly run by todays standards lol.
After about 3 days of downloading Windows Updates, my computer is actually running fine now. I just finished re-downloading Yahoo Messenger (finally). I had alot of problems downloading it earlier this week because i had to update windows before it would download correctly.
Now all i have to do is re-download my camera onto my computer along with my PhotoImpression program that i use to make wallpapers and stuff :)
Im also waiting for the AOL 9.1 update, because im currently using the old 9.0 version. Im going to have to re-download Internet Explorer 8 too, but that wont be difficult or anything, so its nothing to worry about lol.
Im just glad to be back online thats for sure lol.
Other than that i havent really been up to much. Ive spent the last couple of days watching movies (Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome) , and (Spawn-The original animated version). Yesterday i watched Mt newly bought dvd copy of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, which i really enjoyed. I had never watched the movie all the way through until yesterday, and it was certainly worth it :0 one of the best movies ive seen in a while :)
Well, i just wanted to let you all know that im still here and that i hope to get back into my posting groove in the next couple of days :)
It looks like ive gone on a little music video binge lol.
While i was driving to the gas station earlier to get some gas and buy something to drink i heard this song on the radio and remembered how much i really liked it when it first came out (and how much i still like it). Im going to see if i can find a way to download this song and the "Heads Will Roll" song, so i can put them on my Xbox 360 for custom sountracking during gameplay :)
I just saw this music video on VH1 Nocturnal State and when i found it on youtube, i had to post it here :) its called "Heads will Roll" by the Yea Yea Yeahs

Thats quite a bit of visits if you ask me lol. Im also glad to see that i got 2 new subscribers sometime whis week moving my total number of subscribers up to 35. I know alot of the othetr members here have waay more subscribers than that, but 35 is still a big accomplishment and i hope everyone that is subscribed to my portfolio is able to find something they enjoy on any worlds that i may post on :)
On a down note, My Yamcha post that i nominated for a Fan Word a few weeks ago never got published. Im curious to know why, especially since it was probably the only Yamcha related Fan Word to be nominated in the history of theotaku. Ive seen quite a few other Fan Words get published and they lacked in quality and direction compared to mine (in my opinion). I wont rant or anything, ill get my chance in due time :)
Well, i think im going to go watch The Road Warrior/Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome 2 movie combo that i bought earlier lol.
