I always just equated working to being in school type of thing. I'm at my job nearly everyday for the same amount of time I'd have been in school. Now, the plus side is I can do whatever I want after. No answering to any parents. haha. I love living alone.
But I bet it's nice to come home to family, too. I miss coming home to my dad's homecooked meals or my mom doing my laundry. XD
I worked at as a sales associate at Gordmans (do they have Gordman's where you live? It's a retail store). That was pretty fun. I only did it for a couple months, though (I've had a ton of jobs). I think the easiest and slowest paced job I've been able to find is a receptionist for a small business. That's pretty fun.
I can't decide what I'd want to do for my second, part time job. I mean, the most jobs are as waitresses or bartenders or something, and I think I'd be good at it because I was a waitress for 4 years. But I don't want to get back into the food business, either.Bleh.
Maybe your boyfriend will let him practice on you. If you want the car you get in your name, I'm pretty sure you need a valid driver's license to own it, right? Unless you want it under your parent's names, which would work out just fine then. :)
It's really weird thinking that this is my last free summer. o.o I'm not ready to do things. xD I hardly leave my house anymore really. I actually get excited to go grocery shopping with my mom lol
All I'm asking for is a job not in fast food xD I don't think I could handle the fast pace and such. I've been looking at clothing and antique and video rental stores though. I think it's probably enjoy those. I just want something that won't make me cry when I get home lol.
Ah I plan to learn to drive when I have a chance of getting a car. Mostly because my parents are completely against me driving in their cars xD I don't blame them. My dad tried to teach me how to back into a driveway and I backed into my neighbor's fence LOL luckily I didn't ruin anything really.
I can't even remember what summers were like before having to during them. lol. And my dad thinks I should get a second job. Which I would love the money, but I'm not so thrilled of having to work so much again. I'm no longer used to being able to work 70+ hours every week. I don't want to go back!
haha. My brother always lost books. My mom quit letting him get books at the public library because of it. Oops.
Yay! Tell him I said congrats on the permit! Does he have his own car? Are you going to get one, too- a permit, I mean?
I'm just happy to have one last summer with no real responsibilities lol. I have to start looking for a job when everyone else goes to school. It makes me feel a little bit stressed but I'm not going o worry about it yet lol.
But yeah, reading is so great. c: I owed like $13 on my library card lol because I haven't read anything in like a year and supposedly lost a book. >.<
Oh~ my boyfriend did pass his permit test :D he thought he wouldn't but he did. So that's pretty cool.
I've never been to either of those place. o.o probably because I have a lot of fear of crazy rides and I'm a hydrophobe lol.
I get all sorts of ideas but I can never carry them out in a plot. >.< jeez.

I love leisure reading! Not having school or other commitments get in your way is great!
I'm glad that guy handled that situation pretty well. I know of a lot of guys who wouldn't have been that nice, unfortunately. People can be dumb. >.>
I hope your boyfriend gets his permit! That'd be so exciting for you two!
Worlds of Fun is great! I had a blast the time I went. Oceans of Fun was pretty great, too. I wanna go back! >.<
I want to get back into writing, too, but it's been so long, and I have a hard time getting a plot going. Le sigh. I love your stories, so I hope you get back into writing. :)
