Wow....that's all I can say. There's so much hidden meaning behind this one that I'm having a hard time wraping my head around it. So in the end, what she deemed as bondage (her island) was really true freedom. In her desire to become "free" she lost what was most dear to her...her soul. And now she is truly in bondage in the city because she lost herself. At least, that's how I interpreted it.
