Too Soon
I'm just a bit sad that Star Trek: TOS had to end so soon. Three seasons just isn't enough!
But I think I need a break from watching TOS...halfway into season three and I'm having dreams of the whole crew beaming down to take shore leave at my house. Not without consequences though...of course they'd have to deal with the formless malevolent entity before it infects everybody else and turns the whole world into one mass of pure evil!
Anyway, yes...TOS needed another season or two.
A Piece of the Action

I'm just gonna continue spilling my Star Trek squeeing here. It's sad to say, but I don't have a readily available place for me to relate and "squee" with others >_>
Anyway, never thought I'd have a fangirl moment but...Spock!! <3
However, Kirk was lovable and brilliant in this one as well. His gangster impression amused me to no end. Just loved it :)
Favorite dialogue of this episode was when Spock and Kirk infiltrated Krako's den after donning gangster disguises. I found it scrumptiously entertaining.
Weiss's Log, Date 2009/11/1
I've just recently discovered the true joys of watching Star Trek. Why haven't I had this revelation before? Currently hooked on TOS, and vigorously glued to my computer screen, watching the series, thanks to YouTube (uploading of series sponsored by CBS).
Call me an ST n00b, if you will, because I must confess that if it weren't for the movie, I would not have been introduced. Nevertheless, I am enjoying the series a great deal.
Findings: Spock-McCoy banter is hilarious. Shatner's acting, although melodramatic, seems appropriate to me (does a noob like me have the right to make that judgment?). Also beginning to understand why the red-suited guy, during the first drill dismantling mission, in the 2009 film died first.
I love it!

Be strong, but it's hard sometimes.
I'm just too sad about this. I had no where else to express it.
