Sometimes... I'll see something that just drives me crazy. Normally it comes from FAR FAR FAR FAR SO VERY FAR "Right-Winged" people. But... I just want to put this down quick. Maybe my ideals are a bit... ideological, can't really work in real life, but this is how I see things:

There should never, ever be a law that takes away viable options from people. What's available to one group is available to the whole group. I see is as the "Golden Rule" do onto others as you'd have on yourself.

Basically... if a gay couple wants to get married they should be able to because a heterosexual couple would NEVER want that right taken away from them.

Abortion (with the same restrictions it has today, possibly even larger/smaller one (I'm not a legislator)) should be legal because there are such HORRIBLE circumstances surrounding pregnancy that it should be an option if it needs to be.

I love the USA, I really do. Sometimes though I'm ashamed of us, because we're so diverse that we have a hard time seeing eye to eye. I don't understand the people who quote the bible and say this and that is wrong. I'm sure they don't understand my philosophy either. In my head though... the bible, religion, should never ever factor into your political decisions. That's morals. Maybe you're morals are rooted in religion, but they shouldn't be rooted in a big fat book of archaic text. (We don't stone adulterers anymore, now do we?)

AUGH! Did that make any sense? Basically... I don't like double standards, and I like options. I only choose two 'hot topic' subjects but I could probably expand if I felt like it (which I don't).

Sitting in a random hallway in ECC waiting for class to start. Me and Hayato are just chilling, checking out Mr. Perez Hilton and other Monday Goodies (Zombie Hunters/Awkward Zombie Comics). Augh... nine more minutes till class. HOWEVER TO PASS THE TIME?!

OMFG WORD COUNT MAGIC!

So... wrote some more today and I went to check the word count because AXEL FINALLY APPEARED! I'm still a bit worried about how long this thing is gonna end up being, and I'm still a bit torn on Axel himself. Anyhoo... went to check the word count and this is the number I got: 13,814! HOW FUNNY IS THAT?!

13 = Roxas
8 = Axel
14 = Xion

Aka BFF gang from 358/2! Seriously, this is probably the most hilarious thing in the world to me right now.

I didn't plan on introducing Xion to this story though... with the new direction I might have her tag along with Sora's introduction. AUGH! I read too many spoilers about 358/2 and I don't have that solid of a foundation with her as a character to know where I stand with her. Like... I know that I genuinely like her and get some form of mother hen syndrome when it comes to her (Mother hen syndrome is a fatal weakness of mine) and yes Katana you are free to take a little bit of responsibility.

Oh well, just happy to have Axel here in the picture! -pats Axel- From now on the story is gonna take a plot heavy turn now that Axel is here and the plot's been set up. I'd LOVE to finish this by the end of the weekend, but we all know that's not gonna happen. -sigh- Also, I've decided to test run the whole thing here on theO once I'm done. It'll probably get post on ff.net at some time, but... you guys really don't see ANY of my writing skills and this is a genre I've never really delved into before.

Also... I'm currently torn on where I stand on Roxas and Axel's relationship in this fic, cause I think if they become romantically involved the story will go in a different direction if they're not. I guess it comes down to how closely I want it to mirror those 6 days in T.T. One is defiantly a happier ending than the other...

UMMM... DO YOU GUYS LIKE HAPPY ENDINGS?

More Writing Stuff

I'm decided last Monday that I wanted to write something for 8/13 (aka Akuroku day). I... I so didn't make the deadline but I've been plowing through. So far I'm up to about 11,000 words (~22 pages with not a lot of dialogue), which is the fasted I've ever written ANYTHING in my entire life time and... Axel hasn't even come in yet. I KNOW! Here's some goals I have for this fic:

• Actually have Roxas sound like a boy
• Actually writing Roxas as a 15 year old (to me there's a HUGE difference from being 15/16/17)
• Explore one of my favorite bits of KH magic, aka the fact that Roxas' power is light and Axel's is fire
• Not jumping in with Axel too quickly
• Following along my basic Roxas story flow which mirrors the first 6 days in T.T.
• Attempt to make a realistic parallel KH world.
• Fantasy elements, which I've never done before

So far I think I've accomplished most of that. Specially with the Axel bit (WHY HASN'T HE BEEN INTRODUCED YET? IF IT TAKES 12K WORDS TO GET TO AXEL... HOW LONG WILL THIS NIGHTMARE LAST?!) My goal was to be upwards of 20k words... but I'm probably looking at 30k-ish now. Which means if I keep up at this pace I'll be done by next week. Right now the story is taking a bit of an unexpected turn, somewhat spurred on by a conversation I had with my little sister while playing through the 4th day.

Chances are... I will post this up if you guys show a hint of interest. For those of you who maybe tempted to throw a hint out at me... remember that first bit when I said it was originally being written for 8/13 ...so there'll eventually be some man-loving (though I can almost guarantee no sex because 1. Roxas is 15 and 2. I don't like writing sex scenes). So... hint if you're interested.
