A strange virus has been spreading across the small city of Delte. A city know for its strange experiments and mutations. This virus does not affect humans, oh no, it only goes after animals. Most animals have fallen into a deep slumber, nothing able to awaken them. But the strongest of them have had a different reaction. They’ve become human. Well, not completely. They still have some animalistic features, like ears, wings, tails, claws, etc. They’re confused, scared, and alone. And now the humans want to experiment on them, can they escape and find a cure? Or will they be stuck like this forever, while their friends and family sleep, never to awaken?

Catching Up

Taiga Akashiya After our introductions, Tsuki asked quietly, "Someone mind helping me?" She tugged at her collar and I sighed, pushing myself off of the ground. "Can you people do nothing?" I muttered, kneel...

I'm..

-Tsu-

After everyone was back together on the other side of the fence, the snake said, "I'm Spike."

I saw the tiger walk over to the lynx girl, trying to wake her up, "Uh, a little help here?" she snapped, "My name is Taiga. Taiga of the Akashiya pack. If any of you so much as make a move towards me, I will rip you to shreds. This virus is spreading and the humans are taking advantage of our confusion. We have to find a cure, unless we all want to die. Now, we need a leader and I sure as hell don't want to be it. Any volunteers?" I blinked when she finished talking.

"Um, I'm willing to lead," the fox girl said, "By the way, my name is Kita." "Good. Now wake up the eagle and the lynx, or I'm leaving without them," Taiga said.

"I am Tsuki, please call me Tsu," I said. We all looked at the bat, "My name is Yume," she said. She then walked over to the eagle and tried waking him up.

I started fidgeting under the collar the one scientist lady had put on me. I reached up and tried pulling it off me. It was beginning to bug the heck out of me. I didn't really like having collars on me, or anything besides the clothes, the humans had given me.

"Someone mind helping me?" I asked, quietly.

I hope this is all right. And yes, Tsu highly dislikes collars, especially ones that the scientists give.

my name is..

~Yume~

I breathed heavily plopping down in the ground "That was a close one!" I said wiping my forehead looking around me,the eagle was still knocked out cold,and the Orange-fox was sobbing, "He is just sleeping" I reasured her "she nodded.
"I'm Spike" the Snake said adjusting his bandana,I saw the tiger move from behind the bushes towards the Lynx. Trying to wake her up "uh a little help here?" She snapped, "My name is Taiga. Any volunteers?"She finished I stayed shocked at what she finished saying.
"Um I will be willing to lead" the Orange-fox said "by the way my name is Kita" she said
"Good. Now we wake that eagle and lynx up. Or I'm leaving without them,"Taiga said pointing at the two,
"I am Tsuki, but please call me Tsu," the artic wolf said.
She then looked at me. 'Ah!' I yelped "My Name is yume" I said looking at the rest of the group. I quickly began to shake the Eagle,trying to wake him up but my attemts were useless 'if we leave them then the Humans might get them" I though,my energy lowering from the flight
Right now...

Introductions

Taiga Akashiya Once everyone had made it to the border of the forest, I exited the foliage and stood, arms crossed, in front of them. I noticed the desert lynx girl halfway asleep, and realized she had probably bee...

Dizzy @_@

I looked at the tall fence. It seemed all wiggly and fuzzy. Is this what you call "dizzy"? Man, those must have been some powerfull sedatives. As someone told us not to climb, I looked up to see if I could jump it, I couldn't get a firm grasp on it's hight. Just then, the bat girl came over and offered to fly me. Fly? I don't know... Trees are one thing, but not having solid ground under my feet was something entirely different! But it was my only way over...

"Okay..." I told her reluctantly. Grabbing on, she flew me over quickly, which I was gratefull for. On the other side, my vision was getting dim.

"Ugh..." I groaned. But I can't stop here! They'll just get me again. Focussing as best as I could, I ran off, following the scent of the tiger girl. Tigers were cats, right? She would feel some kinship! ... I hope.

The rattlesnake boy scared me, but made my mouth water. Every once in a while, my mommy would bring hope a rattlesnake, and I would play with the rattle. Memmories, memmories... As I thought, I realized I was drifting off. My sight was limited to only what was right infront of me.

"D-dammit..." I repeated what I had heard the humans say when they were fustrated. "Can't... Stay... Awake..." I stumbled a few more steps, put my hand on a tree, and slid down to the ground with my knees together, and my calves spread like a V. Blinking a few times, I leaned against the tree, and felt my mind slowly loss conciousness...

~~~
"Mommy?" I asked the larger she cat next to me. "Why do we always hid from humans, if they're so nice to other cats?" She sighed, and looked down at the human nests below us.
"Because they don't like how we look. They don't like that we don't abide to their rules." I blinked a few times at her answer.
"So... They just don't like us?" I asked.
"Well..." she tossed words around in her head, but finally sighed. "Yes, that's the basics of it."
"Oh..." Just then, we reached home, and my brothers and sister's ran out to greet us.
"The burrowing owl stopped by," my father said grimmly. I'd never seen him so upset! My mother looked at me, then told me to take my siblings to collect the food we'd burried. I walked away a bit, and divided up areas for collection. When they left, I walked silently to the small cave's entrance.
"An illness?!" I heard my mother exclaim.
"The animals are falling asleep. They say a few turned into HUMANS!" he whispered furiously, emphasizing the last word.
"But... How can that..."
"Shortly after the owl left, I found him in an unwakable sleep not far from our cave..."
"So that means...!"
"Yes. We all have it..." I couldn't stand it anymore! I walked into the cave and looked at my parents. They looked at me, and suddenly we were all together, weaving and licking fur for comfort.
"I love you..." I muttered. It was the last thing I ever told my parents.
~Kiki
Yeah, the gist of it is that Kiki passed out and is dreaming a flashback of just before the Virus struck.
