Dont Run, You'll Only Die Tired

Hello Everyone,

i just thought id update you all on what ive been playing recently :)

Im sad to say that an unfortunate accident took the life of my UFC Undisputed 2009 game. Last friday night while i was playing the game against a guy at work, another guy we work with tripped over a controller cord and shifted my Xbox360, causing the game to skip. when i tried to restart the game, it wouldnt load so i took it out of the system and looked at it. Apparently when the system shifted it sent 2 scratches all the way around the disc . Everyone expected me to get mad and go crazy, but it didnt bother me, im not the type of person that gets mad about stuff like that lol. I can always buy another copy of the UFC game, so its no big problem. We use the wireless features of my controllers now, to ensure safety , and longevity of my system and other games lol.

Since my UFC game has been out of commision for this week, me and the guy i work with have continued playing from our last Checkpoint on Gears of War for Xbox360. We have found new love for the game by using the Xbox 360's Custom Soundtrack capabilities. Ill explain what the Custom soundtrack option is :)

If you have music/songs saved onto your Xbox360 harddrive, while playing just about any 360 game - you can open the xbox360 menu by using the button on your controller and then go to the Windows Media center tab. From this tab you can go down to where it says "Select Song" and go directly to the list of music on your harddrive and choose songs or playlists to play. Once you choose the music/playlists and start playing them, you can go back to playing your game with your music playing in the place of the videogame's background music :) you can still hear the videogames sound effects and everything, just with different BGM.

A couple of days ago i uploaded my Underworld: Evolution Movie Soundtrack onto my 360 and we have been playing that soundtrack while we play Gears of War, which has been pretty awesome because it has enhanced the amount of fun we have been having while playing the game lol. Myself and the guy at work have also agreed that the music has somehow made us better at the game as well - which is hard to prove or explain - I guess it helps us focus more or something like that, but its clearly obvious because we've gone through 2 of the Harder Acts in the game since then without dying once lol.

Today the guy i work with unlocked an achievement for killing a certain amount of enemies with the Chainsaw Beyonet, so that was pretty exciting, especially because he use to have alot of trouble with the controls when he first played the game a few months back when i bought it. Now he chases after enemies trying to cut them up with that thing lol. We are hoping to finish the game tommorrow on lunch at work, so im sure it'll be another fun night, thats for sure lol. Ill be sure to keep you all updated on our progress of the game as we continue :)

Once we finish Gears of War, ill probably be buying Gears of War 2, so we can keep on going :)

Well i thank you all for visiting and i sure hope to chat with you all soon :)

Making History

Hello everyone,

This post wont be too long, i just thought id update you all on what ive been playing lately :)

Last weekend i started playing the first Suikoden. So far it has been very enjoyable and memorable - especially since i have already beaten Suikoden 2,3,4, and 5. Im currently still playing Suikoden Tactics as well, so i hope to keep you all updated on that as i move along :)

I have also been playing career mode on UFC Undisputed 2009. I had started career mode a month or so ago and my record was 7 - 0 - 0. After playing it this weekend for a number of hours, my record is now 11 - 0 - 0, and in my last fight i wont the UFC Lightheavyweight Title from Rashad Evans. Hopefully my undefeated streak can continue because im hoping to retire undeafeated so i can get the Xbox achievement on my harddrive :)

The King of the Fighter

Hello everyone,

Ive put this post off for long enough lol, so im here to finall post pics and a little info on some games i bought last weekend :) They are all fighting games, which is becoming a new trend for me as of late, so i sure hope you enjoy the post :)

Capcom Fighting Evolution (xbox)

I had dodged the idea of buying this game, because i didnt know much about it, and i had heard that overall it wasnt all that spectacular lol. Last weekend when i walked into gamestop and saw it on the shelf for 7$ i knew it was time to go ahead and grab it and see for myself lol. As a game it is pretty fun, even though it truly isnt all that spectacular. The cool side of the game is that it has a limited amount of characters from multiple Capcom productions such as Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter 3rd Strike, Darkstalker, and Read Earth. It also uses the Team combat gameplay style, which is used in another game im going to post about in this post :) The gameplay is solid and i had fun playing it, especially since it is backwards compatible with Xbox360, but if you are going to buy this game, id suggest picking up Capcom Vs. SNK or Capcom Vs. SNK 2 for PS2 or Xbox because those games have the same characters, better gameplay, with the same fighting options plus more! all in all i was quite pleased with the buy, i really felt it was worth the 7$ i paid for it, and id suggest it to any fighting game fan :)

Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (xbox)

I actually bought this game a couple of weekends ago. When i saw this game at Gamestop, it was priced at 59$ - USED! lol. I knew something was up: it eaither had to be rare, or there was a price mix up lol. All of the other xbox games up there were 10$ and under so this one stuck out like a sore thumb lol. I grabbed the game and asked the lady that works there if the price was correct and she said yes, which narrowed my thoughts to that it had to be a rare game. She then told me that it was a rare game and that the price on it would only increase, unlike most of the other xbox games which prices would decrease. I paced around for about 30 minutes before i made the choice to buy it lol. When i got home i started playing it and i was pretty impressed. I really liked the fact that there were alot of Xmen in the game, especially Cable lol. I havent played it much, but there is alot of stuff i need to unlock. From what ive seen, it is strictly 3 0n 3 combat, and you are able to switch between characters during battle, which i thought was pretty cool :) There are a limited amount of characters when you start playing, but i think you are able to unlock more as you progress. I couldnt find Ken, so i have been using Ryu in his place for the time being, hopefully he is unlockable lol. This game has been enjoyable so far and im hoping to play more of it soon (probably this weekend) when i have alot more time lol. The gameplay is solid and the diverse characters make this game one of a kind :)

King of Fighters: Maximum Impact (xbox)

This is The first King of Fighters game that ive had the privelidge of buying and/or playing, and even though ive only played on match, i really felt comfortable with the controls ,gameplay and i also really liked the graphics of the game too :) Im a pretty big Fatal Fury fan, so i was pretty familiar with some of the characters. I have Fatal Fury 2 for SNES, and i have also been able to play as some SNK characters on my copy of Capcom Vs. SNK 2 EO as well. I saw this game last weekend at gamestop for 8$, and after hearing my good friend xaos praise the KOF series, it urged me to check it out. The only match i played, i chose Terry Bogard (in his leather coat attire, which i REALLY liked lol) against Clark Steel. I loast the first round because i was getting use to the controls, but i went on to win the next 2 rounds in a row lol. The graphics were pretty awesome and it was cool to see Terry in 3D for the first time in my life :) The presentation of the game was pretty awesome, and i am really looking forward to playing more of it this weekend as well :)

Well i suppose that is all for today's post, i may post tommorrow about a game i may start playing this weekend that has been on my mind for a while, so be sure to check back :) I thank you all for visiting and i hope to chat with you all soon :)

Current games im playing :)

Hello :)

I came across some scans of some games ive been playing lately and i thought id post them up for you guys to check out :) so here we go :)

External Image
Suikoden Tactics (Playstation 2)

This is a pretty fun game, especially if you are a Suikoden or Final Fantasy Tactics fan. All of the Suikoden games are awesome and ive recently been having fun with this game. This game also came with a music cd, which was pretty cool because the music to all of the Suikoden games have always been awesome as well. I reccomend playing this one after completing Suikoden 4, so you can carry your save data over to this game and unlock some hidden stuff :)

Lunar 2: Eternal Blue (Playstation 1)

This game is pretty awesome. It takes me back to the good old days of 2D graphics and anime drawn characters with vivid colors , great gameplay and awesome story :) I havent played much of this game, but ive been playing it periodically a bit more lately. I wish they made more games like these, nowdays lol, Its truly a gem of a videogame, thats for sure.

Ghost in the Shell (Playstation 1)

This is the original Ghost in the Shell game, that was released on PSone quite a few years ago :) Its one of my favorite and rare games that i own. You cotrol the tank/robotic mobile unit called the Tachikoma through the game, and you are able to scale the walls along buildings and everything. Its a pretty awesome game visually and technically for the time that it was released (i believe it was 1997?). I also have the Ghost in the Shell game for PS2, which was equally fun, and i enjoyed beating that game. im just hoping that one day i can beat this one :)

Well i thank you all for visiting and i really hope you enjoyed the post :) if you have any questions about any of the games - feel free to ask anytime. I love getting questions and i really enjoy helping others, so message me if you ever need any help or suggestions with a game :) I sure hope to chat with you all soon :)

Fight For your Life

Hello everyone,

I was sitting here playing some games and i thought id put up a post with some pics and a video of the newest game ive bought.

External Image
UFC Undisputed 2009

Ive really been enjoying this game since ive bought it. This game realistically covers pretty much all aspects of Mixed Martial Arts, whether it is striking, grappling or surviving to fight another day lol. Te controlls are a bit hard to get the hang of simply because you use every button, but once you get accustomed to everything, it becomes alot of fun and alot easier as well :)

I made a couple of videos of me knocking out an opponent with my created fighter, but since my camera wontrecord video properly for some reason, ill just have to use a random video i found on youtube. Im hoping to get the camera problem fixed soon though, so ill be able to post my own videos up on here, along with stuff from my wrestling game as well :)

here is a video for you guys so you can see the gameplay/graphics etc. :)

I hope you enjoy.

Well, thanks for watching and i hope to keep you all updated a bit more on this game and other games im playing :)

stay strong
