Here's a tip for something I've seen various members around the site doing. When they want to post more than one image, they've been making a collage using a program like Adobe Photoshop. This is a rather simple example that I just tossed together:
But as you can see, by combining them into one image, you can have more than one picture up at a time. :p As someone who does a lot of scrap booking, I can easily see how making collages of pictures could turn into a really fun and creative project for posting purposes. ^_^
We were use to dressing up our pages by using html, so think of the fun you can have dressing them up using different means. Hmmmm, perhaps I should scan and post some of my scrap booking page ideas for people to better see what I mean.

Since I started this world, I figure that I should be the one to get things going. Now to put things into perspective, I was never a member of myOtaku. I did check things out by virtue of following the little link people had over at OtakuBoards, but I never signed up.
I was also very well acquainted with a good amount of how it ran on account of my daughter being a member. So with that in mind, when I think of what I like best about the change to the site, the ability to block other members from contacting you is what I was most pleased to see.
It's every parent's worse nightmare to realize or find out that their kid has been harassed online. Just as there are wonderful people and friends to be made, there are also those who for whatever reason are spiteful and carry their personal problems from their regular life online, lashing out at others on account of their own insecurities.
I like the new feature because in the past, one had to go through moderation channels to stop persistent harassers where now, the member has that power. It is only one of many things I like, but it will do for a start.
