STORY:

Solange Grew in company of her father because her mother disappeared days after she was born, although all her life she practiced alchemy until the age of 8, at this age she suffered a serious illness that would end with her life so his father, in the despair of curing her listen about that if he got the melancholy flower the illness would go away because this flower possessed curative properties. The flower only grows at the feet of volcanoes and this because the lava possessed the curative properties that help to maintain the flower alive.
The father went to search for the flower leaving solange with Roy mustang ( yea I know its strange but solange and Roy had been good friend through all their life), although Roy have to go to the war and he never find out that solange died; when her father returns with the flowers, he find out that she was dead.>_<
After this big disappointment and this big loss he decided to do a transmutation; he knew about equivalent exchanging and he try with the flowers he picked up (a total of 300 hundred flowers)
He began the transmutation. After proving that it wasn’t equivalent he decide to give a little of his life (not all because he wanted to saw how her daughter grew), unfortunate she became an homunculi with the sign of homunculi in the left part of her back and her father dies because he was very weak after finishing the transmutation.
When she woke up people told her that her father realized a blood transfusion for her and that he died, she became orphan but Roy take care of her until she met ed, al , jouan and willow and decides to be a state alchemist.
Solange uses a Heckler and koch MP5 (machine gun) that riza taught her to use and an other thing, she considers Roy like her big brother but this doesn’t means that she could fall in love with him ( all their life they both like each other but they haven’t show this to the other)
On the other hand, solange has a hawk called wing, he is her company and possess the “stamp” that stops solange to become a homunculi, both of them had this in and his right leg, if someone its brake solange will became a homunculi immediately. If the father of solange died before finishing the transmutation, solange would be a normal human

ABOUT MELANCHOLY AND HER FLOWER

The power of melancholy is to control the air without alchemy, she had always done that but she had to use alchemy so people don’t discover her. On the other hand, she posess a good weapon that consists an a chain with a dagger at the end of it, it is controlled by using air; melancholy has another power that consist on using the elements of air, she creates a bubble and hold her enemies on it, then she takes al the oxygen, and ta tan…they’re are dead ^_^
Now… her flower, well as you know this flower grows only on the feet of volcanoes and it is an offensive flower because the petals of it cut people and they are poisonous, although Solange is immune to this poison and this because she need this to control her of becoming a homunculi so every year she had to be poisoned by the flower, the only bad thing is that every time she get close to the flower she became paralyzed
