To A Friend

Gone.
She was all gone.
No longer here.
Dead.
No.
He reached for her.
No.
He reached for her friend.
He wiped the blood from his face.
He admired him.
'How you've become my love's truest friend.
I envy you,
She talks so much of you.
She worships you.
How you always keep your promises.
How you make her feel.
Oh, I envy you.
You touch my love in such ways I cannot.
Oh, how cold you are.
How you light up the room.
No,
You left her breathless.
Will you do the same for me?'
He pressed him to his neck.
And said a prayer
Filled with empty words,
And reached for her with his free hand.
'Oh, how I love you.
May this be my gift to you my friend,
I give you my blood.
I give you my life.
I give you a chance to kill.
Take me as you did my love.'
Oh, how he drank,
Blood drenched his friend's face.
The sinner fell beside his angel,
Their eyes met,
Their friend lay between them,
A bloody, crimson blade.

Cruel Redemption

A broken hearted angel cries tonight,
apparently her world was far too much to take today.
A dark hearted sinner tries to make things right,
but, every word is too hard to say.
He speaks, but nothing is said.
Which only left her feeling dead.

A broken hearted angel lies tonight,
apparently she would give up all she had.
A dark hearted sinner puts up a fight,
he'd knew that suicide was only a fad.
He'd begged her to only try.
Tears spoke her words as she continued to cry.

A broken hearted angel sighs tonight,
apparently she'd accepted defeat.
A dark hearted sinner holds her tight,
listening to the echos of her heartbeat.
Like a lethal gun shot,
each beat killed him on the spot.

A broken hearted angel dies tonight,
apparently her heart had given in.
A dark hearted sinner holds her in the light,
relieved of all his sin.
A stealthy shadow, at the least.
That is all he'd ever been.
The angel spoke to the beast,
"May my world be all you win."
