ere's some misc doodles I've done with the Laf and Dmitri 1920's AU. :^0
Aimless dialogue, as usual. This happens on what's probably the first time Ritsu goes out casually presenting as female. She and Dmitri end up spending the day in Luna Park in NY or something. SO I GUESS THIS AU TAKES PLACE NEAR NEW YORK??? Idk.
If you can't read it, the dialogue is this:
Ritsu: Will you not go. With Ritsuko.
Dmitri: Mmh. (annoying)
Dmitri: "Ritsuko"? What's that?
Ritsu: ええとね。。。Hm... How do I explain... "Ritsuko" is like... A girl's name of Ritsu. "Ko" in name makes it a girl.
I only transcribed (?) this because "Ritsuko" as a name/concept actually becomes kinda relevant to the plot. (altho... there is no plot......) It's too difficult to explain rn, but maybe eventually. :0
I just... wanted to draw Ritsu shutting Dmitri up by putting their cigarette in Dmitri's mouth. (???? pointless)

Both Ritsu and canon-Lafayette speak Japanese when they're drunk. (I've actually drawn drunk Lafayette before, but idk if I've posted that here yet.) I got this from a friend of mine who speaks Chinese when she's drunk;;; COOL LANGUAGE STUFF!!
Translation/Transcription:
Ritsu: ねえ。。。ディミトリーちゃん。。。（Hey... Dmitri-chan...)
Dmitri: Huh.
Ritsu: 何か。。。 何で。。。英語は。。。話しにくくなっちゃったな。。。(What... why... is it suddenly hard for me to speak in English...?)
Dmitri: What.
Ritsu: どうしてディミちゃん。(why, Dimi-chan.)
Dmitri: Christ.
Some I drew for ~no shame november~ of Ritsu and Dmitri almost kissing;;;; IDK IF THIS IS CANON...??? I usually try to steer clear of drawing romantic-y things with Lafayette and Dmitri, but idk in the context of this AU... I feel like Ritsu and Dmitri would experiment more with romance than canon-Laf and canon-Dmitri. So maybe something like this happens.
I HAVE SUCH A BAD HABIT OF ONLY DRAWING RITSU IN SUITS AND TIES FOR THIS AU!!! Because suits are so much easier to draw tbh hghhghsldgjhg "'orz But yeah, here's some doodles I did of them in dresses and stuff.
Tbh, I really like how Ritsu (and Lafayette too) looks in these kinds of dresses. :u Laf doesn't really wear dresses outside of stage shows tho, so it's nice to be able to draw them dressed up and fancy for this AU. I also think I've been drawing (canon and 1920's) Lafayette's body a little more feminine lately...??? Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but idk it's happening. Maybe I'm just getting gutsier (?) and moving out of my masculine-prefering comfort zone. Who knows. I think I'm definitely developing understanding what kind of feminine body type I prefer to draw, tho.
