why are titles so BAD.
Anyway, I've been drawing all day! And now I want to show my progress, because I'm tired. "orz Idk where all this drawing came from today. I've been pooped about drawing all break, but NOW THAT IT'S ALMOST OVER... THE MOTIVATION HITS ME. ;U;> HAHAHA JUST MY LUCK.............
But yeah, here's some stuff. First, here's some progress on a comic I'm working on.
That's Lafayette btw, if you for some reason don't recognize him without his glasses. Oh but the hand in the 3rd panel is Dmitri's. (SPOILERS????? who cares.)
I randomly got a BURST OF COMIC ENERGY yesterday, and thumbnailed like 4 pages and some dialogue for a comic with Lafayette and Dmitri. EVEN THOUGH I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING ON A DIFFERENT ONE WITH THEM.......... DISTRACTION. This one kind of starts out of nowhere because I'm too much of a butt to come up with any semblance of an introduction. But yeah, I plan on this comic being around 10 pages, more or less. We'll see how that goes.
ALSO, AS YOU CAN SEE..... THIS IS DONE DIGITALLY. I've never done a digital comic before!!!! Except like these kind, but those don't really count.
But yeah, digital comics.... they're a lot harder than I thought, and now I remember why I never do them. ;U;> DIGITAL ART! I almost convinced myself that I should just give up on this and re-do it traditionally, but I think I've decided to do this comic all digitally, for practice. PRACTICE IS IMPORTANT, AKIOH...
I also think I'm going to shade it all, which is something I wasn't really planning on doing. I shaded that first panel for fun, but it was actually SUPER ANNOYING.... But looking at it again, I think the whole comic will look nice if I just shade it all. ;W;/ AGAIN, FOR PRACTICE... I'VE GOT TO PRACTICE MORE!!! GGGGAAAAHHH. I do feel a little more comfortable doing quick line art like this on SAI, at least. ;u;>
I feel like that paragraph (?) is super incoherent. Sorry about that.
Other than working on that comic, I did a sketch today:
This is some random girl from Sasakure.UK's new song, Claimer's High. I didn't like the song at first because the voice was waaay to cute... but idk, it's kinda growing on me now, haha. xD I also just really like the girl's design, especially her stockings. *U*/
This is actually like... the third sketch I did of this drawing..... I did a quick rough doodle thing on paper, and then took a photo of that and uploaded it to SAI. Then I did a digital sketch over top of that to fix some of the proportions and stuff. And then I did this sketch to get more of the details in, and fix the pose a bit more. SO ANNOYING! WHY CAN'T I JUST GO FROM SKETCH TO LINE ART LIKE A NORMAL PERSON...
But overall, I'm pretty happy with how this came out. ;u;/ I just hope I can do the line art and still feel happy about this drawing;;; I'M GOING TO HATE INKING THAT SKIRT SO MUCH LUSGSHDGALF
MMMMMMYEP. That's what I've done. I feel like I've got a lot of stuff done today, but in actuality... idk if this stuff was anything I'm supposed to be working on...;;;;
