ANOTHER MEME I FELT LIKE FILLING OUT BECAUSE IT DIDN'T TAKE MUCH EFFORT!

I kind of consider 2008 and 2009 the same year, because it was the summer before 8th grade and 8th grade... ACTUALLy, I usually organize my drawings by my school year, not the actual year. So there's a lot of weird overlap in these... I usually go through a strange improvement (?) period in the summer. BUT ANYWAY, I uploaded SO VERY MUCH in 8th grade. I remember carrying around a folder with computer paper in it, and just drawing in English class while the teacher was teaching. I even had my colored pencils all out. xDD I thought I was going to be able to get away with that in 9th grade, but I chickened... haha.
I remember being super proud of Luli's sleeve in that Luli picture, though. :9

2010 was a big year for me, because it's when I started to really focus on the personalities and back stories (?) of my characters. And that's when I introduced the OFAV characters to y'all! :V When I first made the OFAV characters, I wanted to keep them simple so it'd be easy to write comedy comics with them. BUT THEN... STEFAN AND GABE...................
Stefan was a huge crybaby in 2010, though. And Gabe was a borerline sex offender. Haaa......;;;

A LOT OF THE STUFF FROM 2011 AND 2012 FEELS LIKE I DREW IT JUST YESTERDAY, THOUGH...! I was in some sort of colored pencil slump in 2011, though. I used my markers quite a bit that year. I think I was frustrated with the way I drew heads, because they were weird and pointy and made no sense. I KNEW THEY MADE NO SENSE, BUT... I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO FIX IT....

I still drew such weird heads in 2012. ._. 2012 was probably the most stagnant year for me, 'cause everything looked about the level that it did at the end of 2011.
But hey! Look at how much newer of a character Danny is compared to the rest of the OFAV crew. :V He came a whole two years after everyone else! I still remember creating him... I was doodling in pre-calc class, and thought he looked pretty cool. xD And like Christian Siriano...

I thought that 2013 was going to be as stagnant as 2012, but I randomly got a surge of enthusiasm in the summer of 2013. I think drawing that SteGabe comic and using Noland to experiment with head shapes helped me get out a slump and try and make sense of drawing. I also felt more comfortable doodling in my free time since I entered college. I never really liked full out drawing at my house for reasons I still don't exactly know. xD;;

AND NOW, IT'S 2014! I finally feel pretty comfortable with how I'm drawing. :V;; And my heads don't look too hilariously wonky. I'm excited that it's almost summer break, because I'll be able to work on my drawings more and post stuff for y'all! 8D

AND YEP.
