A commission I'm working on for a friend of that Homestuck guy Dave Strider. I do not know the Homestuck well, so I hope this is doing the dude justice. xD; Also, he will be holding a sword, which I have yet to draw. :V
DID YOU KNOW THAT HUGE CANVASES MAKE DRAWINGS LOOK CLEARER?? I always did, but didn't bother with huge canvas sizes because it takes more work. 8D; I think large file sizes affect the way that soft shading looks more than cell shading. And yeah, I'm soft shading this. .u.;;; I still have my qualms with soft shading (in that I'm just making it up as I go), but it seems to be getting easier than it was originally. :V
This is Jo, but her shoulder and face came out weird. :M;;; WHY SO GRUMPY? But man, I haven't drawn Jo in a long time. orz Maybe that's why she's so grumpy.........

A gijinka of Kyubey from Madoka Magica! 8D My sis wants us to go as "steampunk Madoka Magica characters" for Otakon this year, so I'm going to try to make this... probably not the pants, I'll just buy those or something. And I'll probably just buy some white oxfords as the shoes. And I own a white shirt. BUT THE JACKET, VEST, AND BELT! I will make them.
I don't think this is really steampunk.... BUT I DO THINK IT LOOKS COOL, SO WHATEVER. 8D;
