This is a world I made mostly for my own use, but I made it a public world anyways. I'll be posting things about story outlines, my characters, my comics (including fan comics), WIPs, ect... It's pretty much a world where I can store information and/or plan things. xD
Below are short descriptions of my stories to help you know what's going on. xD It also shows which characters are in which story, along with their extended profile if I have one made. Some stories aren't mentioned because I don't work on/think about them often. Therefore, not all of my characters are mentioned.

Happy Monday, everyone! :M Woo yeah. Here's some stuff from the past week-ish.
Some outfits I drew last night during my stream. :V I wanted to practice girly outfits, but then I drew Noland and wanted to draw more guys. So I drew Tomato.
I want to draw Tomato more often. ;0;
I like drawing Kasey in tacky make-up. :V I'd be lying if I said Nicki Minaj wasn't an influence on Kasey's fashion taste. xD Kasey's kind of like a combination of Gyaru and Nicki Minaj here, or something. :V
The Noland outfit is something I sketched in a notebook one time, but didn't have colors for it. I DON'T KNOW WHY, BUT I THINK POLKA DOTS REALLY SUIT NOLAND...
Some random Danny. Still not really sure if I want to make his hair brown or ashen. It looks too much like Stefan's hair color here... not that that's really a problem, but IT FEELS LIKE IT'S A PROBLEM.
I love drawing Danny's buck teeth. :B
IT'S ALMOST SUMMER, SO I DREW SOME SUMMER CLOTHES! I think I don't like Stefan's head in this picture. Gabe's head was also annoying to draw. WAH. I do kind of like this, though, even though their heads are weird. Maybe I'll finish this, and draw a ~*~BACKGROUND~*~, too. 8D
Muic = music, because I can't spell.
Noland and his coworker/superior Prudence/Prue having a conversation. :V I haven't decided if that's her final design yet, or exactly how I want her personality to be. SHE'S JUST A MYSTERY!
And yeah, Noland and music. Yep. He's like that guy you knew in high school who could tell you everything about every Led Zeppelin song. Or maybe you didn't know that guy. I didn't know that guy.
Noland mostly listens to 60's rock and classic punk. LITTLE DID YOU KNOW. Interestingly, that's not the kind of music I listen to when I draw him. Usually I listen to music that I think the character might listen to when I draw them, but not for Noland! I usually listen to more emotionally-dramatic music when I draw him, because he's an emotional boyo at heart.
I was going to delete that shirtless Dare, but I forgot.
Here's some doodles of the A Life Like This trio! :V i'm trying to figure out how I should draw Rick and Tim's faces. I think Tim should stay the closes to what I originally draw him as, but idk about Rick. WHOOOO KNOOOOWS.

I'm going to actually try and make OFAV look nice from now on!!! 8D;;;; one thing that I thought would be a good idea to make OFAV look nicer is to ink and color it panel by panel. Usually I do the inking of the strip all at once, and then color it all at once... but I think doing one panel at a time will make me focus on the quality more easily. This panel took a good 2 and a half hours to ink and color, though. Weeehhhh. ""orz THAT'S... a pretty long time. But the fact that I usually rush with my comics really shows in the other OFAV strips, though. THE INKING IS JUST... HORRIBLE... And the coloring hasn't been that great. Meh.
BUT CHECKITOUT, GUYS!! I think I finally have a skin tone that works for Kasey!! 8D
I'm also going to start using this harder lead pencil to do pre-sketches for the strips, which'll help me sketch faster and keep the strip cleaner, I think. 8D I actually managed to sketch the next strip pretty quickly today.

MAYBE WITH THESE NEW COMIC-ING TECHNIQUES (?), I WILL UPDATE OFAV MORE!! I actually really do want to, though. My goal this summer is to update OFAV like... EVERY WEEK. ;u; It'd be cool to finally see the story (?) rolling! Who knows if that'll actually happen, though;;;

I didn't know what to title this. Just thought I'd post that I changed Gabe's chest tattoo! 8D I changed it from this monstrosity to this different monstrosity:
Yep. AGH, SHIRTLESS. I mean...
Colored tattoos are too difficult for me to work with, so... yeah. Black tattoo for you, Gabe. :V I think black design-ish tattoos look cooler anyway, in my opinion. BUT WHAT DO I KNOW ABOUT TATTOOS. Nothing, is the answer. .3.
GABE, STOP PRETENDING TO LOOK BASHFUL, WE ALL KNOW YOU WANT TO DO THIS:
Weird anatomy, wooooo! :D I think I drew this like a month ago, and was like, "HAHA. GABE....;;;" when I finished it.
SPEAKING OF GABE, which I guess I have been this whole time... Here's a random comic thing with Gabe, Kasey, and Jo! This takes place 4-ish years before the current OFAV timeline, when Gabe and Jo just moved to France. For the first year or so, the three of them all lived together in an apartment.
Also, kind of PG-13 warning for swearing, and weird conversation topic.
I posted this on dA just now to get it the right size, so here's the long footnotes I put with it:
Kasey and Gabe's relationship initially is like how it is in this comic. They have some problems because
- Gabe's never had many female friends and consequently isn't very good at interacting with them as a whole
- Kasey gets crushes on almost every guy she meets (including Gabe, for a while)
- Kasey prematurely thinks that since Gabe's gay, she can treat him like a girl/assume gay stereotypes on him. (this one's not really pictured in the comic.)
That third reason Gabe and Kasey don't get along is kind of weird, because Kasey kind of simultaneously holds two (incorrect) images of Gabe: Gabe acts "straight," so he probably likes girls even though he says he's gay; and Gabe says he's gay, so he probably has good fashion sense/watches musicals/etc according to gay stereotypes. They contradict each other to some degree, but... it's Kasey. :V SHE THINKS WHAT SHE WANTS, I GUESS.
ALSO, sorry about the borderline sexist comments from Gabe. HE'S NOT BEING SPITEFUL... and panel 3's "this" means "this action," not "this person." By the way, speaking of Gabe! In the third panel, I'd like to mention that Gabe does flirt with straight guys, but he usually does so to get a reaction out of the other person than to pursue romantic action with the person. (? weird sentence.)
UM. WELL, I HOPE THAT ENTERTAINED YOU TO SOME DEGREE. Slightly regretting posting this. xD;;; I actually have this little story (?) in mind about Jo, Kasey, and Gabe all living together, and how Gabe and Kasey end up coming to terms with each other. (WOW, KASEY IN THE LIMELIGHT?!?!?!?! Or sort of. It'll probably be mostly Gabe. "orz)
AND SO THERE'S THAT, I GUESS.
Note: If you're straight, you probably shouldn't flirt with your gay friends. Same with vise versa. And if you're bi, flirt with people compatible with you, I guess. DON'T FOLLOW KASEY'S EXAMPLE, BASICALLY...

This doesn't really feel like a character development meme because Kasey hasn't changed much since I first designed her... and this doesn't feel like a draw-this-again meme because she's wearing a different outfit. xD;
Anyway, some elaboration on the changes since I've first made her:
-Appearance-wise: I've made Kasey's hair longer, changed her eyes to blue, darkened her skin tone, and made her hips somewhat wider. I've also made her face, ears, and nose very rounded. I kind of wanted to go cuteness overload when I designed her so I think having rounded features makes her more childlike and cute-ish. ...or something. :D;
-Personality-wise: Most of Kasey's personality is the same. She's still bubbly, energetic, outspoken, and pop-culture oriented. She's also a bit of an airhead, which is something that troubles me because Tomato is also an airhead... I-IS IT OKAY TO HAVE TWO AIRHEADS IN THE MAIN CAST? Compared to Tomato, I imagine Kasey to be more book smart. I'm considering making her a college graduate (probably majoring in something like "women's studies"), but I'm still not sure. Even if she is a college graduate, Kasey is the kind of person to make premature assumptions and formulate the most obvious argument possible when trying to prove a point. That is, even though she's potentially been given knowledge, she doesn't try to do a lot with it.
As far as gossip goes, she loves to talk and be told about other people, but doesn't normally insult or bash the people she talks about so much as relay her interpretation of said people. She's the type of person who gossips a lot, but doesn't really realize she's gossiping. (note: here, Gossiping = giving your opinion on another person/another person's situation when the person is not present)
It suddenly dawned on me while I was drawing the picture on the right that Kasey is 26 years old, and not 15. It's really weird to think of how much older she is than me! I can kind of get a feel that Stefan, Jo, and Gabe are around 10 years older than me, but I forgot that Kasey is right up there with them. :M;; Whoopsie. I also really need to make Kasey's character profile, as she is the only OFAV main character not to have one. .u.; I'll type that up some time... xD;
I hope to finish coloring the picture on the right before I go to college, but if not I'll try to finish it some other time. :V I had a lot of fun drawing Kasey's hair, but it kind of ended up completely different from how it originally looked. BUT OH WELL, WHAT CAN YOU DO!
Also, I finally finished adding tags to all the posts in this world! (Except maybe a few A Life Like This chapters, but they can be found in the intro.) Hey guys! I'm mostly posting this for my own use so I don't forget this stuff, but take a gander if you want. :M This is a timeline of what Stefan and Gabe were doing before the current OFAV comic strips. I could have included Tomato or Jo in the timeline, but... Tomato was in elementary school when Stefan was in college, so that would be weird to talk about. And I mention Jo occasionally in Gabe's timeline. So there.
YEAH, IDK. I write/draw about this stuff sometimes, so think of this as a brief summary of their lives! 8D And by brief, I mean this is actually kind of long.
There are also a couple characters in Gabe's storyline that I haven't talked about here on theO that I have mentioned on dA. I feel like I should at least officially introduce Will someday...
Pre-2000
Stefan: Age 15-18 in 1995-1998. Graduates in 1998. High school is when he begins to develop his tendencies to speak in a manner such that he's always on someone's good side. (Something he does currently when he's trying to book gigs for Tomato. He doesn't care so much around people he's close to.) Mentally, he's very cynical. He has one girlfriend some time in high school, but she breaks up with him after a couple months. He's not bothered because he didn't have strong feelings for her, but he still tried his hardest to be loving while in the relationship. He begins college in 1998.
Gabe: From 1997-1999, he's in high school (age 15-17). Freshman year he has a secret relationship with a friend of his named Dave. Dave accidentally lets it slip, and puts all the blame on Gabe. Gabe accepts the gossip; comes out at school, but not to his family. For part of freshman and sophomore year, his old friends avoid him. He befriends William mid-sophomore year, which helps bridge the gap of awkwardness (?) between him and his old friends. Gabe develops a crush on Will, but he keeps it a secret all through high school.
On a side note, Will ends up marrying his high school sweetheart later in life.
2000-2001
Stefan: Age 20-21, sophomore to junior year in college. Around this time, Stefan begins to notice he's romantically inclined to men the same way he is to women. His feelings for boys don't really surprise or bother him, but he decides not to mention it to anyone due to the fact that he likes girls and can appear straight if he only shows an interest in women. He has a girlfriend, who this time around he is more serious about. Things initially go well between them, but they slowly drift apart due to personal differences. (Stefan was too serious and unromantic for her taste, something like that.) (obviously I haven't had the chance to thoroughly think about this. xD) Their break-up was a mutual decision, but officially it was Stefan's ex-girlfriend who broke up with Stefan. Late 2001, Stefan befriends Noland.
Gabe: Age 18-19. Gabe graduates from high school in 2000, and does not pursue further education. Gabe comes out to his parents after Jo comes out as bisexual to them. (His parents have suspected for a while that Gabe is gay, but have wanted him to tell them himself.) After high school, his father "makes" him work in an automotive shop. He spend the next two years saving up money so he can move out of his home town and quit his job.
2002
Stefan: Age 22, and a senior in college. Stefan and Noland become close friends. Noland comes out and confesses to Stefan, to which Stefan admits similarly. He and Noland begin dating, but their relationship is more physical than emotional, unlike his previous relationship. (Stefan in the future describes to Gabe that he was "100% infatuated with Noland".) Stefan discovers that Noland has been cheating on him late in their relationship, but seems willing to make up with Noland. However, Noland thinks it best for them to break up and their relationship ends. They don't talk to each other for the rest of their college life.
Stefan graduates in 2002 with a degree in marketing.
Gabe: Age 20. Gabe moves to New York and works as an underwear model. He befriends a British (??) model, and the two of them engage in a long-term physical (but not romantic) relationship.
2003-2005
Stefan: Age 23-25. Stefan is hired at a modelling agency as a booking agent for miscellaneous models from the agency, and an overseer for casting calls and open calls (ie: an audition judge of sorts). Because he works with a variety of models at this time, he doesn't become attached to any particular one as friends or romantically. He is not particularly close to any of his coworkers either, because he tends to focus more on work than socializing--even after work hours. He becomes more comfortable being alone around this time, and his distaste for romance becomes more concrete. He is stationed somewhere in the United States.
Gabe: Age 21-23. While in New York, Gabe often uses his British friend (sorry for the lack of name) as a guinea pig for his hobby of hairstyling. Overtime he discovers he enjoys styling hair more than he enjoys standing around in his underpants in front of a camera--I mean, modelling. Luckily (if you want to call it luck), he gets fired in 2004 for getting a tattoo on his arm. He moves back home that year, and discusses with his sister that he wants to be a hairstylist. They decide they want to team up as a hair-and-make-up duo (Jo just finished cosmetology classes at a community college). The two of them spend 2005 figuring out how to get started, when Gabe throws in the idea of moving to Paris (despite only having mediocre skills in French).
Somewhere in 2004 or 2005, Gabe gets that weird tattoo on his chest. (Not that it's relevant at all...)
2006-2007
Stefan: Age 26-27. Stefan is assigned to Tomato as his personal modelling agent. Initially he finds the 17 year old boy extremely naive and highly annoying. After spending copious amounts of time together (and partially because of accidental flirting on Tomato's part), Stefan develops an awkward crush on Tomato. In late 2007, the two move to Paris on orders from Stefan's boss.
Gabe: Age 24-25. Gabe and Jo move to Paris, France. While Gabe's French is bad, Jo knows enough from high school and miscellaneous classes to help the two of them get by. Some time in 2006 the two of them meet and befriend Kasey, another American living in France. (How the heck...) The three of them then decide to team up as a hair and make-up trio. (??) Gabe spends 2006 and 2007 as a freelance hairstylist, rooming with Jo and Kasey until he acquires enough money for himself. Initially he thinks Kasey is annoying, but they eventually bond over their love for attractive male celebrities. (??????) Oh yeah, and his French does get better over time... Sort of.
2008-2009
Stefan: Age 28-29. In Paris, Tomato finds a boyfriend. Stefan initially thinks that Tomato having a boyfriend should prevent his feelings from becoming too prevalent, but instead he develops a kind of jealousy. As usual, Stefan tries to ignore his feelings.
On his bosses orders, Stefan hires a hair-and-make-up crew for Tomato. I don't know exactly how he finds out about Gabe, Jo, and Kasey (probably through a combination of phone calls, the internet, and the newspaper), but he does and he hires them.
Gabe: Age 26-27. Gabe thinks Stefan is physically attractive right off the bat, but at this point he's not emotionally attracted to him. This is the point in life when he notices he feels the most comfortable where he's at. He loves his job and and the people he spends time with. YAY!
2010
Stefan: Age 30. This is the current year in OFAV! A bit before the comics start, he hires Dean Johnson for help with things besides hair and make-up. He sees Dean more as an intern than an employee initially, but eventually trusts him with important and difficult tasks.
Gabe: Age 28. This is the current year in OFAV! Around this time Gabe begins to develop romantic feelings for Stefan, and tries to become closer to him on a more intimate level.
Even though OFAV technically takes place in 2010, I'll probably still make references to things that happen after 2010. Yes, nonsensicality!
I feel like the timeline ends kind of abruptly. Oh well. Thanks for reading, if you did!
I really don't know why I have all this stuff planned out, considering it NEVER SHOWS UP IN OFAV. Or idk, maybe there'll be references to some of this stuff occasionally...
