This is a world I made mostly for my own use, but I made it a public world anyways. I'll be posting things about story outlines, my characters, my comics (including fan comics), WIPs, ect... It's pretty much a world where I can store information and/or plan things. xD

Below are short descriptions of my stories to help you know what's going on. xD It also shows which characters are in which story, along with their extended profile if I have one made. Some stories aren't mentioned because I don't work on/think about them often. Therefore, not all of my characters are mentioned.

ORIGINAL STORIES
*Rock Band: Something Impossible: The story of a Rock Band and their adventures in music business.

I don't have a name for his story, but Jamal is a Kingdom Hearts fan character. I figured I'd mention him because I draw him often enough.

New Story Ideas + Chiminey

Hey guys! I talked briefly in another post a couple months ago about a new story idea that I have. Since I had pretty much no idea of what I wanted it to be about, I haven't posted about it at all since then. Now that I'm starting to work out some of the characters/etc, I think I can start to talk about it a bit more! 8D I've only got a couple of sketches scanned at the moment, but there are several more doodles and things that I'll compile some time into another post. This post is going to mostly be about the general story, and the main character Chiminey.

I haven't decided on a title for this story yet, so I'll just be calling it "the story" in this post. :m The idea for this story started out with me wanting to draw Victorian-esque clothing and artificial wings:

Stories about desires for flying/etc have already been done before, so it's been taking me some time to come up with a story that has machinery and cool things in it that doesn't involve the desire to travel and see the world. Basically, I didn't want to draw an adventure story. I'm just not very good at them. ;u; You know me and my inability to make flowing story lines...

Anyways, the basis of the story is a young girl goes to a middle-aged inventor seeking employment to learn the basics of inventing. The inventor discovers the young girl to be a skilled writer, and wants to learn how to write from her.
There is more, but that's the absolute basics of the story. :D; Not the most action-packed story line, but I always try to interest you guys through characters and character interactions. Hopefully I've been succeeding to some extent so far... ;u; (Although, I've been pretty inactive as of late.)

The two characters in the above picture are the "young girl" and "inventor" in the above summary, and are 2 of the 4 characters that I have so far.

The girl on the bottom's name is Chiminy/Chiminey (spelling still pending; sorry if I interchange), and she's the main character of the story. Chiminey is 14 years old, and is the only daughter of an old coal minor/factory laborer of some sort. She wants to be an inventor so she can create machines to help her aging father with his work. She has no mom (UH OH, CLICHE!), but I haven't decided if she's dead or just doesn't live with Chiminey and her dad.
When Chiminey does begin working under the direction of the inventor, she discovers inventing is much more difficult than she anticipated. Many of her attempts at creating machinery are disasters.
She has a hobby of writing and is rather good at it, but she has no desire to seek a career in literature. When the inventor tells her he wants to learn how to write well, Chiminey becomes his teacher.

Since she was raised by her dad--who is a pretty gruff person--Chiminey grew into a pretty rough girl. She's used to hard labor, because she helps her dad out a lot with his work. I posted a picture of her some months ago with her color scheme, but here's a slightly more detailed (and much more tilted) pic of her without her jacket:

One thing I kept in mind when I was designing Chiminey is that I wanted to create a female character that would be drawn like a male character (like the arms and legs). I have a couple male characters that I draw like female characters (mainly Tomato), but I didn't have any vise versa. Another thing about her is that SHE'S MY FIRST FEMALE MAIN CHARACTER...! I've mentioned this sometime before that none of my stories have a girl as the absolute main character. I thought it would be nice to have a girl in the spotlight for a change.
What I like about Chiminey is that she's not a supposed "girly girl" (which tends to be my default for girls), but she's also not a tomboy. She does act pretty "guyish" I suppose you could say because she was raised by her dad, but I'm not trying to broadcast hers as a tomboy or as a character that is "thwarting female stereotypes". She's probably not even aware of what it is to be a tomboy. Chiminey is just a girl that has some overlap with standard male personas, which makes her really fun to draw since I like drawing guys so much.
By the way, she's not a tsundere. It kind of seems like that at first, but she's not the kind of person who hides her opinions about someone she likes by insulting them (unlike Stefan, for example). She's just a little difficult to get through to.
I wanted to have a relatively young character this time around, which is why she looks so young in the first picture. She's 14, so she actually looks too young there... but eh.

Sketch + New OC Preview

I have a couple doodles/etc to post, but I don't want to scan them all right now... so I'll just post this. 8D

This is a picture of Tomato that I sketches yesterday. AGH, more attempts at realism. Sorry. I don't feel like I draw a lot of realism though, since all my doodles are cartoons and chibi-type things... xD; and I doodle a lot.
Anyways, I sketched this for art class. Shocker. It's actually based off of an old picture of me dressed as Tomato. I used to have that in one of my worlds (my cosplay world?) but I've since deleted that world. xD;
The nose came out a bit big, but MEH... I also need to learn how to draw better straight lines.
Well, at least I tried something at a different angle.

Also, I've come up with two new characters for a completely new story! 8D YAY! More stuff that Akioh won't get around to working on... ;u;
Anyways, here's one of the main characters's designs:

I wanted to make some steampunk characters. Though idk if this is really steampunk, but... YEAH. This character's name is Chiminy. AND SHE'S A GIRL! 8D No way, man. I thought I should come up with a girl character that I'll actually like drawing... xD; That's all I'll say for now about her. I'll talk about the story later and include some more sketches/etc in a different post.
