Here is my story It is a work in progress. Grammar and spelling are not my strong points, so please forgive me for destroying the English language with this story. I decide to use Sailor Moon as the setting for this one. Why? Because it's fun and my friend BlackMonster suggested it. If I get something wrong about the characters or offend someone for in some way I’m sorry. It wasn't my intention to do so. Also this is based on the anime, so some characters that are died in the manga will be alive. Well enjoy. :)
=======Moon Shadows======
"Chibiusa! Chibiusa!" called young Prince Endymion as he ran through the halls of the Crystal Palace. He was searching for his sister Princess Usagi small Lady Serenity, aka Chibiusa, all morning. Anyone who saw him smile to themselves, for the young prince was a lot like his mother at his age. Slow, a bit of a crybaby, painfully shy at times and tends fall down a lot, but there was another side to him. A side most found mysterious. Mostly it was just talking to himself or placing plates of food on the ground and other strange places. His reasons were his own, but the only thing the prince would say about it was that he was talking to or feeding his 'friends'.
The Prince turned the corner and bumped into Sailor Jupiter and Mars. "Hey slow down little guy. Where’s the fire?" Jupiter smiled as she patted the young prince on the head.
"Um.. I’m looking for Big sister Chibiusa. Mom told me to find her because it’s almost time for lunch." He mumbled. He wasn't good at talking to his aunts and they knew it.
"Ooohh.. Looking for your sister, huh? Hey Rei did you have any ideas where Chibiusa is?" Jupiter asked Mars.
"Hmm.. I might.." she started, but when she saw how the young prince lit up she changed her mind "..But I’m not going to tell you."
The young prince's face fell, so Jupiter jumped in. "Huh? Why not? He needs help."
"Because he also the son of King Endymion and a boy, to boot. So he’ll just have to toughen up and find his sister himself." And that was that. Mars started walking away; leaving Jupiter apologized and started followed after her friend, leaving the prince standing there alone. The two scouts didn’t get far when the prince start to talk to himself. So they stopped to listen in on it.
"I don’t know where she is." He said. "I’m supposed to find her for mom and father."
Silence was the only thing that was heard, but Prince Endymion just nodded.
"Yeah, they are no help.”
Silence
"Yes, they are good people. I do like them, but.."
Silence
"You will? Thank you my friends." And with that the prince started down the hall again, but this time holding out hand as if touching some sort of invisible wall.
Jupiter and Mars watched the young prince go. Then Jupiter turned to Mars and asked "Anything?" Mars had a sixth sense which let her see things like that weren't there, but mostly this ability was use to sense danger. In this case she couldn't see anything and sense anything beyond the prince's own power.
"No, but what do you expect from imaginary friends." She sighed and walked away. Jupiter looked down the hallway to where the prince had gone and tried to shrug off the feelings that there was something there watching them watching the prince or how when he walked away the sound of something sharp clicking against the marble floor.

Sailor Saturn stood in one of remote hallways of the Crystal Palace. She was standing guard at the only doors at front end of the hall, while Chibiusa and her lover Helios had their time together. They were always meeting in secret and she was stuck being look out. She didn't mind so much because hardly anyone used this area and no one knew that the Princess and priest of Gold crystal temple were in lovers. So this was a rather easy job in the long run.
This was another secret meeting like any other. They would spend several minutes kissing, hugging and exchanging sweet nothings to each other, after that spend time catching up on things. Saturn did tend to listen in just in case things get out of hand. Which happen every so often and she would have to step in and pry the princess off poor Helios.
She was so caught up listen to their sweet nothing that she failed to see Prince Endymion run right past her and into the hall. By the time she noticed it was too late to stop him from going in or seeing the two lovers in a loving embrace. She followed after him, but decided to keep a good distends from him because just the air around him made her uneasy.
"Chibiusa!" Prince Endymion called out to his sister.
Chibiusa and Helios jumped apart at the sound of her name being called. She quickly turned to face her younger brother. "What do you want, Oreo head?" She asked putting on a fake smile. 'Oreo head' was one of many mean nicknames she had made up for the young prince due to his hair being black with white streaks running through it. No one outside Saturn, the prince and herself knew it was mean intent. So all she had to do was put on smile, say it ever so sweet way and no one would know the wiser.
The prince stopped in front of His sister and the priest. He looked at them with bright eyes and with goofy smile said "I finally found you, sister. Mother says it's time for lunch."
"Oh is that so." Chibiusa said petting his head. The prince and princess were several years apart in age. So the princess was much taller than the 8 year old prince and she also knew how much he hated being petted like some sort of cat. So with an even bigger smile, Chibiusa continued petting him as she addressed Helios. "Thank you, Helios. You help me again today. You may leave us."
Helios mumbled an 'as you wish' and quickly left the through a side door that lead to one the many gardens of that surround the palace. As soon as the door shut, Chibiusa petting quickly turned into hair pulling.
"How dare you enter this place without asking first!" she hissed yanking hard on Prince Endymion's hair. He just yelped in pain and tried to fight back, but only succeeded in having his hair yanked harder. "I also don’t need to be found by anyone and certainly not by my stupid crybaby little brother."
Saturn had watched the whole thing from afar and could care less what the princess did to her little brother, but air in the room seemed to get colder and darker with each pull of the prince’s hair. So she stepped in. "Princess, we best be off if we wish to keep this meeting a secret."
With one final yank, Chibiusa released her now on the verge of tears brother from her death hold. "You’re right, Saturn. Let's get going." She said and pushed past her little brother on her way to the door. Saturn followed close behind her, leaving the prince standing by himself to tend to his sore head and as soon as they walked through big doors, she shut and locked them behind her.
"Doors are locked, milady." She said to Chibiusa, who burst out laughing.
"How long do you think it take him realize the door is locked?" the princess question was quick to be answered by the sound of the young prince pounding on the door and him calling out for them to unlock the door."Hahaha! Serves him right for barging in like that." She laughed and kept on walking.
Saturn didn't bother to remind her about the side door and hope the little prince was smart enough to remember it himself. As they walked away the feeling of being watched by something that stared after them with absolute rage and hatred made Saturn back crawl. She looked at now quite princess and saw that she too felt the unearthly stare on her back as well. They kept walking hoping this feeling would disappear, but it didn't.

Helios, priest of the gold crystal temple and secret lover to the princess, was making his way back to the temple in a rather disappointed mood. He had hope he could spend some time with his beloved princess, but the little prince had come in and cut it short. He wasn't anger or upset with the little prince who was just doing his best to do the job he was given. Helios just cursed his luck, but there was nothing to be done about it. He was walking by one of several moon viewing ponds in this part of the crystal palace, when something odd in the pond’s reflection caught his eye.
In the reflection was some of the trees and in one sat a single odd looking black bird. It was the same size, shape and color as any black bird, but what made this bird odd was that a very large evil looking eye was painted on to its forehead. It silently watched him not taking its eyes off Helios for a moment, with eyes of askance. Helios looked up from the pond and into the trees. Trying to find where this strange bird was, but it wasn't in the tree shown in pond or in any of the surrounding trees and the animals in and around garden had gone deathly quiet. This unsettles Helios quite a bit. "A spy from an enemy or..?" he asked himself and watched as the bird start to flap its dark wings.
The bird opens its beak and ear slitting sound cut through air from what seem like from everywhere. He covered his ears with his hands, but the sound cut through like a knife. It was piercing sound that shook him to his bones and forcing him to fall to his knees. The sound also deafening to that it shook the pond as well as the very ground beneath him. The sound last only three minutes, but to Helios is felt like eternity. It didn't putter out like a normal sound would, but just stopped. Like the thing making it just shut its ungodly mouth and the sound, whatever it was, was too evil and dark to even stick in the air after it was cut off from the source.
He didn't even remember when he closing his eyes, but when he opened them and peered out over the settling pond the black bird was gone. 'Did a bird do all that?' he thought, but cased that thought aside. No bird, no matter how evil, could make that sound. He couldn't get to his feet right away, but when he did his legs felt like rubber. He looked at the tree where the devil bird was supposed to be and still saw nothing. So Helios started back towards the palace. He had a feeling that's where that black bird went.
