Comparisons Between Two Redheaded Individuals

Inspired by a fanfic I read.

Tell me if it's good, alright?

Disclaimer: I don't own Aeropostale, or malls, or food courts, or F.Y.E, or Axel, or Reno, or Kingdom Hearts, or Final Fantasy, or..... maybe the name Marly Nekoshire, who knows?

Chapter 1: Aeropostale

Axel was strolling along the upper floor of the largest mall in Hollow Radiant Bastion Garden for no apparent reason. Yep, just strolling along looking at all the different clothing-related stores. Looking for slim-fit clothing because he had a weird obsession for that particular type of clothing; he says it ''shows his 'bod' without actually showing it''. Whatever...

He decided to go to Aeropostale. As he entered, he noticed that Aeropostale meant "air mail'' in French. "Interesting..." he said to himself. Axel walked over to the young men's side of the small store and randomly searched through the groups of clothing. He looked at every article of clothing until he found a fabulous, black, gothic slim-fit hoodie.

"Oh my gosh!" He exclaimed. "I have got to try this on!"

Axel then got an employee to unlock one of the dressing room doors to try on his new fab hoodie. Good news, bad news. Good news, it was, like, totally the right color. Bad news.... it didn't fit. It was, like, two sizes too small...

"Shit..." he muttered. He got out and went back to the section where he found the same hoodie (two sizes bigger) and turned around to get back to his fitting room.

When Axel turned around, he saw this guy about the same height as himself, with extremely HOT red hair, just like him. This guy obviously looked a lot like Axel except that he had blue eyes and very lengthy hair in a ponytail; it stuck out in all directions on the top of his head; it kinda reminds me of a chicken whose feathers are ruffled or a rooster... And he wore a black suit with no tie, so you could see part of his chest. And the goggles. Those goggles on his forehead; what's up with that anyway?

"Um... I like your hair, dude. Really cool," Axel remarked.

"What the HELL?!" the stranger shouted for no apparent reason and backed away to the other side of the Aeropostale, hitting several racks along the way and landing on the floor. Axel. Was. So. Confused. Like, total brainfart or something.

"DUDE, WHAT IS YOUR ISSUE?!" Axel yelled at him.

The guy yelled back, "Why the fuck do you sound like me?!!!" He was obviously very freaked by this.

Axel then realized, that this guy was right. "Oh my gosh, I just realized that you're right!!" They had the same tone, the same pitch, the same voice....

Then the employee who helped Axel earlier said, "Excuse me, sirs, but you do know that you are in an Aeropostale in a mall where everyone can hear your SHITTY CONVERSATION?! And you're ruining the store!"

"Sorry..." both redheads answered at the same time, causing the blue-eyed one to freak out some more. In the space between the two of them, there were several hangers, racks, flipflops, and jeans scattered everywhere. At this point, Axel was standing in the boys' side of the store, while the stranger was flat on his ass in the girls' side.

"You should be," said the employee, glaring at the two. As punishment for causing a scene, the two were ordered to clean up the mess they had made.

Axel and the stranger worked next to each other. It was eerily quiet in the store, especially eery since they were in the mall; which is usually the first place you would hear people talking. Right? So Axel decided to break the ice.

"I like your sense of style," Axel commented, referring to the fabulous, black, gothic slim-fit hoodie that the stranger was still holding after all this time.

"Thanks..." the stranger said, hesitantly. He was still freaked from the whole "I didn't even know I had a twin/clone" possibility.

"I just tried that on, but it didn't fit me and since, you know..."

"Since I kinda look like you I shouldn't try it?"

"Yeah..." Axel rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Oh..." The stranger then smiled. "Thanks for the warning... what's your name?"

"Axel. A-X-E-L. Got it memorized? What's yours?"

"Reno. Nice to meet ya." Reno extended his hand, in which Axel switched the broom he was holding to his left hand so that he could accept the handshake with his right.

"Same here. Reno, has your hair always been like that or did you dye it?"

The stranger named Reno scratched his hair subconsciously. " I-It's always been red like this."

"Y'know, your hair is darker than mine..."

Then the goggle-wearing redhead smirked. "Jealous?"

Axel scoffed. "Yeah, right."

Reno started to look really nervous. "Axel," he said, "We might need to get out of here. People are staring at us..." Axel looked around. Indeed, they were attracting attention; there was a crowd of people staring at them from the outside of the store, probably because they looked so similar. The employee had closed the doors to the store until the two redheads were done cleaning up.

"Ooh... you're right. Let's go to the Barnes and Noble after this," Axel suggested, referring to the clean-up. "We can talk some more there. Most likely there will be only a few people over there." Both redheads finish cleaning up and leave that really weird Aeropostale for Barnes and Noble.
