~Random Poem~

ummm.... a random i had to do for class
i would like to share with you

A poemly title
In the middle of the street
On the far east of the town,
A house is stubbornly propped.
With a number tacked of 123
Onto its side aching in pain with
No where to run,
She stands tall as a redwood in
Silence.

A young one opens the door as with a scare
The house itself seemed
Peaceful at first look
No mouse was snoring to the left
And not a squeak to the right.
An outstretched staircase that led to
A transparent universe

A giant ceiling to floor mirror
With a long hallway attached to its side
Sang in harmony.
Equally balancing each other
Like a dog and its owner
Sharing joy with each other
With every loving belly rub.

A white fireplace in the room
Took its first breathe
Guarding the a painting of two young sisters
Like it was his precious treasure.
Hunger keeps it going.
Music keeps it living.

Now the noise level starts to
Rise as the rustling of paper
Come to play
Dancing to the beat of a new tune they
Anxiously take their turn to be written on

The stomach of the house
Starts to grumble as the
Clock takes the hour of seven
A lavishing smell of freshly
Murdered tomatoes in a
Pot begins to turn into a curious
Mouth watering sauce
Tigers craving their
Tomato pray, endlessly waits in agony

The heart of the house gives its almighty
Immediate roar when
football games comes along
Filling the streets in cheer
Or worn full sigh
Dressed in the sports of the present and
Time traveling days of the adolescent past
Gives the heart its motivation.

Soon it all starts to melt together
And the sound commences into blend
Louder and louder it squeals
Head splitting tones reach high
Above the rest
No thought left in the house
Just noise
When will it end?
No where escape but to the outside world

Silence at last
Lit with paper stars
Hanging straight in a line below
The wood and tarp roof
A raccoon that crosses the fence eating
Crabapple
A fire outside in the wood burning stove
Hearing the crickets and the sound of river frogs
The house drifts to sleep

End
