...and the streets were filled with the sounds of rejoicing.

6/8 with the left hand, 4/4 with the right. More precisely, triplets against sixteenths.

I can do it now. I'm so happy. ^_____^

And I finally restrung Sofia. She's sounding bright and jubilant, like violins are meant to. That previous A-string was boorish and horrid. Part of the reason I've been avoiding playing her, I'm sure. But that's what I get for quickly slapping on a super sensitive string when the other snapped in my face. I wish they'd quit doing that.

I want to be sure and practice all of my instruments more this year, and part of that will require dusting Wolfwood off and strumming him quite a bit more often. It's terrible to have such a lovely acoustic Ibanez and not play him enough. The instruments in our house cost so much more than our cars, it's funny. Shows where our priorities are. I also hope to motivate Shika into picking up her cello and playing him some. Obito is, besides our Yamaha, the most expensive instrument we have. She shouldn't leave him for dead.
*crying inside* (and simultaneously) *shot*
Then there's her bass and drums. I'd play her bass, but she'd kill me. And the drums? I wonder when she'll have the time. We'll see.
