I think the plot's pretty clear, so even newcomers to the franchise should be able to understand what's happening in Salvation. It's mostly that inside jokes, references to the first three, and some of the characters names that we should recognize wouldn't hold as much weight. Still enjoyable, though.
And you simply must watch Star Trek. Fantastic film. Go Karl Urban!! XD
Thanks for the comment and subscribing, btw. ^^ Hope to see you around some more.

i really want to see the terminator movie, but i don't know anything about any of the others, so i'm not sure if i should see it. i don't want to sit there all confused the entire time. i also want to see star trek and wolverine, but haven't been able to yet. lucky you.
I don't like that either, cutting in front of others. I think it's okay for a few people, but kind of rude for that many. oO I did get to see Star Trek on Saturday though. It was good.
It was extremely irritating. I can see each person holding a place in line for one other, like what we did last night. My mother and I saved spots in line for my father and brother. But even then, they were sure to get there hours early as well, just not quite as soon as we were.
The people in front of us kept piling more and more of their friends until 2 people literally turned into 40. They even went back through the line to pull any people they knew and bring them to the front. My dad knew how to beat the system though. He completely skipped one of the switchbacks in the line and bulldozed ahead of the entire group when the theatre started letting us through the doors. Way to go dad.

Perhaps I'll do the same this summer. If I had to pick I'd read the Otherland series by Tad Williams. I have the 4 books, just never read them... *shot*
My parents and brother have already read the 5 books that are currently out, and we have a tradition of reading something massive on our summer vacation, so what better series for me to choose this year? I was in the mood for something intense and full of court intrigue. Perfect fit.

Yay for going back and catching up in a book series you had to put down years ago. ^^ That's one I want to read some day.
