Glad the cookies turned out good. They sound delicious. I’m not too familiar with the recipe book, though. ^_^; I just stick with the store bought stuff when it comes to dinners and stuff. What they don’t know won’t hurt them.

I’m glad things are better with your Mom. My Dad has the tendency to act like that. ^_^;

Haha...I'm like you and am not much of a baker. Just last week we threw a goodbye party for a coworker who was leaving and we all brought in food. I baked cookies...but I cheated and made the pre-done ones in a tube that you just spoon out and bake. I still screwed up the 1st batch though by over-cooking them.XD I'm still adjusting to this new oven.

Packing stuff sucks. I hate doing that. Good luck and let's hope it doesn't go to that extreme of 30K!

Yeah, to not remember things you had said when they were hurtful to other people is not a good thing.>_<

You learn a lot from Good Eats, and Alton's recipes are usually very simple. I've got a couple he's done that I want to try at some point. They went over well, and that's the best part.
