Hmm... It's around 5 o'clock on my watch. Not just 15 minutes ago, my mother just told to "stay out of my life, to leave me alone. ...you're a troublemaker... etc. etc." Mind you, she said that to me. My mother and I never had a great relationship together, and I guess we're at the point when ANY thing can just about disrupt what little one we had.
It's completely frustrating to have a mother who claims to love God and call herself a devout Christian yet say things like this or idolize the house like she does. Maybe her motto is "Cleanliness is next to godliness" or something crazy crud like that. *shakes head* What kind of standard am I supposed to abide by when everything is a double standard with her?! "I can do this, but if YOU do it, that's a completely different story!!" My dad and I are getting weary ourselves. It eats at you to when you have to deal with these kinds of issues on a constant basis. Home should be your sanctuary. Instead for us, it's a battlefield. Notice how I say "mother" rather than "mom." Big difference.
In other (happier) news...
This upcoming Friday, my friends and I are going to play an alumni game against the graduating team. It's going to be a lot of fun for both the girls and the boys. I hope we win - our pride is on the line here! Lol
Until then, tonight we old girls are going to practice some stuff. Hopefully it'll help with Friday's game. Man, I don't know what I'd do if we lost. Guess we'd have to suck up our pride... Let's not go that far! Heehee...

Greetings, my fellow Otakuites. ^^ I hope you all are doing well, especially as you all, I'm sure, are still figuring this place out. It's actually not as bad as I thought it would be. However, part of me loves the versatility of our old places; thus, I might go here and there at different times.
Anyway, nothing new has been going on. The semester continues to move forward with me standing still, or so it feels on occassion. I'm hoping this will be my last semester at the community college. However, I've been researching different local schools (I'm not interested in going out of state) and seeing what they require in terms of music programs. Most of them require auditions and knowing certain pieces in your repertoire. Methinks I need to do a LOT of work before I'm ready for any audition. ^^; Fortunately, I'm in no hurry to get out and start anew.
Oh yes, I have one more thing before I leave. I posted up a recent fanart that I just fininshed. Not too long ago, I ordered a manga book from this art store. It's a huge book on how to draw different types of manga, and this is only volume 1. Each topic has a clear step-to-step process and a fully colored finish. The picture I did, mind you, is not my OWN original, since I followed the steps to creating it. Anyway, please click go to my portfolio and check it out.

Well hello to all my darling Otaku buddies! Geez, this is something, isn't it? *looks around* There's so much to figure out, my mind is going on tilt. I've been able to track some of my friends but certainly not all of them.
For those of you who have found this place... How do you like it? Gosh, I hope Adam has some sort of tutorial around: I'm going to need it. Also, are you all going to keep up your other, I guess that's right, site. You know, the one I think we're all used to? ^^ I'm not sure just now; I'll have to see how this works out for me.
