Wow, I don't update nearly as much as I'd like to, but I do come and visit people oddly enough. I hope everyone has been doing all right. ^^
Reasons why I haven't been around or updating include the following:
1. Ongoing home remodel...

Anyway, thanks for your encouragement concerning my latest predicament within my family. Things are still tight here and there. I swear, there are days when it seems like my mom's okay and other days when you know she's PO'd. Heh.
Right no...

Aye, thanks to those who've been coming around lately and leaving comments. Much appreciated.
You may have noticed my title. "And so it begins... again..." *sighs* Well, I am implying that things with my "mother" have once...

Yeah, I think I'm late with the whole Easter stuff. *shrugs*
For Easter, our church had an Easter dinner, so each family had to prepare some food. Mine had to bring green bean casserole and some sort of dessert. Dad fixed the casserole: he loves that stuff. I decided to bake cookies. Now, in the past, I've done horribly with baking. I don't think I'm the next Betty Crocker. Lol It took me, last time, 6 hours to bake a couple batches of sugar cookies, the easiest next to chocolate chips. ^^;
But, by God, I decided to give it another try. I used a recipe from Alton Brown of Good Eats. And surprisingly, it was much simpler and therefore took less time. But it still took an overall of maybe 4 hours total. Lol At least the end result was good: people loved my icing artwork and thought the cookies were delish! Lol Yay!
I'm currently on spring break. I really need to use this time wisely since I have a few projects to work on for school. Plus, our house is going to go through some renovations, which will mean I have to help with getting everything packed away. I really hope that we don't end up with a $30,000 remake of what we already have. *glares at mom*
Speaking of my mom, things are okay between us. I swear, she'll make statements, like I mentioned last time, and not even know it. *shakes head* She's going to have to do something about that.
Well, anyway, I hope you all have a great day! See you guys later. ^^
Hmm... It's around 5 o'clock on my watch. Not just 15 minutes ago, my mother just told to "stay out of my life, to leave me alone. ...you're a troublemaker... etc. etc." Mind you, she said that to me. My mother and I never had a great relationship together, and I guess we're at the point when ANY thing can just about disrupt what little one we had.
It's completely frustrating to have a mother who claims to love God and call herself a devout Christian yet say things like this or idolize the house like she does. Maybe her motto is "Cleanliness is next to godliness" or something crazy crud like that. *shakes head* What kind of standard am I supposed to abide by when everything is a double standard with her?! "I can do this, but if YOU do it, that's a completely different story!!" My dad and I are getting weary ourselves. It eats at you to when you have to deal with these kinds of issues on a constant basis. Home should be your sanctuary. Instead for us, it's a battlefield. Notice how I say "mother" rather than "mom." Big difference.
In other (happier) news...
This upcoming Friday, my friends and I are going to play an alumni game against the graduating team. It's going to be a lot of fun for both the girls and the boys. I hope we win - our pride is on the line here! Lol
Until then, tonight we old girls are going to practice some stuff. Hopefully it'll help with Friday's game. Man, I don't know what I'd do if we lost. Guess we'd have to suck up our pride... Let's not go that far! Heehee...
So how are you all doing? I hope to come around later on. Hope you have a good rest of the day...
