Greetings, friend(s). Hope all is well!
Gosh, I can't believe Christmas is one week away. I still have to do shopping!! Fortunately, I was able to get some ideas from my mom and my dad. My sister is a different story. She says, "Don't get m...

Whatever will be will be...
Greetings, everyone. I hope you all have been doing well :)
I've been staying busy as the semester was winding down. Finals kept me up and studying (though I still did plenty of procrastinating... XD). Last week was "finals" week, so I had 3 to take - 2 on Wednesday and 1 on Friday. The ones on Wednesday were either really early (8 am) or really late (2:45 - 4:45 pm), which were a real pain in the tuchus.
On Wednesday, I took my Accounting and Business Stats finals - I think I did well on my Acctng test because I got an A in the class. As for the Business Stats, I know I didn't do very well because I got a B in that class. (Who comes up with 59 True or False questions?!?!?!) *sighs*
On Friday, I took my last test - Macroeconomics. This was the class I was dreading the most since the early weeks of the semester, I wasn't doing that great. The last test before the final, I got a very high B, which definitely boosted my grade. If I were to get an A, I had to answer 51 out of 60 questions correctly. I almost thought that was impossible. However... I managed to get 50 right! That gave me an 89.5... But the teacher was very gracious to give me the other .5 points which gave me an A!!! XD I was so happy, and he was very nice. He said he liked me (and gave me a hug) because I showed up for class. Yeah, go figure! Guess that's not the status quo these days.
So, now I'm doing some work at the coal company. Still teaching my little music classes and helping out there. Other than that, I'm trying to draw a little more, but we'll see if I get anywhere with that. x3
P.S. I may stick around a bit longer. I'll see how the rest of this year goes.
Cheers!
I think my time here on TheO is nearing its end. I've hear a lot of people, some of them my "friends," saying pretty much the same thin, i.e. they'll be departing this place soon.
TheO is definitely not the same as MyO, which sucks. On MyO, I felt so much closer to people. I'd have friends pay visits, and I would go to their sites too. Lately, I've been feeling rather "blah" when I come here because there's barely anyone that comes and visits me. Granted, I don't post much, and then again, I don't get to other people's sites that very often myself. So, part of this is my doing too...
But it really boils down to a lack of any "friendship" here on TheO. (MyO is just plain dead these days. No one goes there but once in a while.) I know I don't have the stats like other people, some of which I feel like they're obsessed with having as many people "subscribe" to them as possible. It's just whatever. I don't want fame, but I wanted companionship, i.e. simple friendship. But since I've been getting none of that, I might as well leave. (Again, for sure I don't get to everyone's sites, and I feel bad for that.)
Possibly at the beginning of 2009, I'll be signing off for good. This place has taken a lot of my time away, time that I could've used better. But no, I wanted to try to make friends here, but to no avail (for the most part). There will be those whom I will remember and possibly keep in touch with (but very few indeed). They're the tried-and-true friends.
But I will give TheOtaku one prop: it gave me my love for anime! I find it pretty cool to have found out about the world of anime. It's a rather vast place - still so many I've got to watch. All in due time...
For those of you who care, cheers!

I am officially an old prune. 21 years of living and I wonder how much I have to show for it.
Anyway...
If you didn't catch what I was saying... Today is my birthday, and I turned 21. It feels nice, I guess. You're legally an "adult." Lol
Today I'm working at the coal company for half a day, but then I'm leaving to go to college and help a professor out with something. (I have no clue what I'll be doing.)
Saturday, I hope to go out with some of my friends to celebrate my friend and my birthdays (that didn't sound grammatically correct). My friend is just 2 days older than I am. Since it's our 21st, I thought it'd be nice to do something together (also because she needs to get out more - being a nursing major sucks the life from you...literally). We might go to the Cheesecake Factory and then do something else later on. Then on the following Monday, my brother-in-law and sis want to take me and my family out to this Irish pub place, so we can get some drinks. xD My dad wants to try a Guiness. Lol
That's pretty much all I have for you. School is going well. I need to really step it up for the finals that are approaching. Time flies way too fast. Home has been up and down. Monday, my mom flipped on the dog because he tore up her dishrag. I repeat - her dishrag. She even went as far as dumping him off somewhere, but fortunately he found his way back home (with the help of a crossguard lady). Now she seems all right. But man, I hate drama.
Guess I'll pay visits later. Have a nice day!
