Welcome my little corner of the Otaku!

Previously, it belonged to my twin sister and I but she left me to manage this site by myself a while ago. For those of you who are unacquainted with me, I am called Kasey-chan. Thoughts and Impressions was created to be a blog of my everyday life.
So outside of drawing I love antiquing, thrifting, catching up on my delightful asian dramas and american cartoons, going on Facebook, hanging out with my theatre friends, and devoting my life to whatever theatre production I'm in at the moment. Yes, I won't give the specific year, but I am a theatre major at M______ college.

The Freaking Submission Limits

Well, a few moments ago I was merrily submitting my work, when I stumbled across this apparently new otaku rule that you can only submit one pic per day. That is the stupidest thing on the entire planet! Why in the world did they change that?! I mean, I can understand if someone submits like 20 pictures at once, that a littl overbearing. So, just limit the submitting amout to like 5 or 3 pics. Dont take it down to one! I love Otaku, but I really hate this whole submitting limit. The funny thing is, I submitted two pictures and it was fine, but when I went to submit the third one, the malicious little message box popped up and prohibited me from submitting. stupid. Doea anyone else agree?

I can't find my friends!

Well there's no backroom navigation anymore and my old friends list got deleted or something, so I have no idea of how to find anyone! Please! can anyone help me?

Procrastinating in Computor Class

I am currently in Study Hall in the computor lab and we have these old school computors with keyboards that make a satisfying sound when you type. So I had a sudden urge to blog something.
Last night I had my first encounter with Super Smash Bros Brawl. My one friend brought his Wii over to our other friends house and we had a lot of fun doing an unnofficial tournament. I figured out something very deep through that game. I figured that I pretty much suck using every single character. However, I found that I had some skill when I played with Ike. He's a new character originally from Fire Emblem. My friend informs me that in the original Japanese game Ike was gay. But they thankfully edited that out in the English version. So in summary, I suck with every character except for the gay one. Huzzah.
Other than that, the characters options were pretty cool. Of course, my fav is Link because I am a Zelda fan. F.Y.I. I'll be posting a Zelda fan art pretty soon, if any of you re interested. But my art has been comeing out slow ever since VV came up. Really, that has nothing to do with the speed of my photoshopping. Acctually, I am experimenting with coloring in layers now. Any one who has photoshop will know what I'm talking about. So that's comeing along slowly but sureley. I hope to get a lot of cool ones done for you guys.
Well, I don't want to get in trouble (I don't think I'm acctually supposed to be on Otaku right now), So I'll unsupiciously stop my furious typing and inconspicuously exit this site *eh heh*

Growing Pains

I was on a college visit this weekend. All that ran through my mind was, "Where did all my time go?! I should be a kid!". I guess that sounds pretty stupid because in reality Im not tht old at all. I'm just comeing to that point when I'm realizing I wont have my family around me all the time anymore, people will think I'm wierd if I decide to play dress up and hide in the clothing racks at stores,I won't be playing outside in the sprinkler anytime soon, and I won't be playing with toys (or at least theones I used to anymore), and I'll start paying bills and things like that. It's one of those milestones in life that has a surreal sort of feel to it, a stage that always seemed so far away, and hits you like a frieght train when it comes. It's not that I'm not excited about independence and all that. You have no idea how happy I'll be to get out of here and move on to an exciting life. But I'll always miss being a kid. Always.

My Precious Site

Well this is my first Version Vibrant Post. I immediatley find myself in a few dilemas and was wondering if someone would be so kind as to help me.
First problem, Can I create my site with a background an stuff? I'm not finding a way of doing that.
Next Item: How can I get my friends list back!?
