Welcome my little corner of the Otaku!

Previously, it belonged to my twin sister and I but she left me to manage this site by myself a while ago. For those of you who are unacquainted with me, I am called Kasey-chan. Thoughts and Impressions was created to be a blog of my everyday life.
So outside of drawing I love antiquing, thrifting, catching up on my delightful asian dramas and american cartoons, going on Facebook, hanging out with my theatre friends, and devoting my life to whatever theatre production I'm in at the moment. Yes, I won't give the specific year, but I am a theatre major at M______ college.

Another Lazy Sunday

Well its the last Sunday before school starts here for all the little kiddies. I already called dibs on taking my little brother to school tomorrow. At the moment, I am anticipating my own first day of school. Now its just a lull period at home. My sis and friends have all gone to school and Im the only one here. It's pretty frickin boring. However, the anticipation of college keeps me going. Also the waiting for the arrival of my online ordered books and Fahrenheit poster. Especially the Fahrenheit poster. .
Today I'll probably draw another LOTR comic and finish up a fan art that's been a round for a while. I have the time. I finished two of them the other day and I got a fan art up ate yesterday, so please check it out!
Also I found a new Jiro Wang drama! Currently, it's being faithfully torrented. That and Wu Chun's "Hot shot". A, Jiro's drama is called "Rolling Love" if any of you want to check it out. I'm also torrenting a drama called Smiling Pasta. I liked it when I watched it, but never finished it. I also want to get The X Family and Corner with Love. On top of that I have a lot of anime's to download before college. At least I got Eureka 7 out of the way. lol, my computer is going to be very busy this week lol.

On My Own

My sister is now officially at college, leaving me alone to bide my time while waiting for my own college debut. I am earnestly trying to complete my self-set goal of LOTR comics. I actually got two posted tonight. Please check them out ^-^.
Also, I officially ordered a Fahrenheit poster for my dorm room. So to honor the occasion I have created my own Jiro Wang user icon *swoon*. Also, I found out that Jiro Wang is going to star in a drama that is coming out in May called Rolling Love: .....Then something about fried rice lol. I don't really care what it's about, Jiro's in it. That works for me. He's just too adorable lol.
Well i got this up pretty late...im tired..and bored. I'll see what you all are up to.

How Now Brown Cow

Well it's been a bit, but I have been doing college preparation stuff and it's really taking up most of my time. However, I am drawing stuff, more LOTR comics to be specific. I really need to get at least 5 more done and a comic cover for the calendar I want to do for my old teacher. So hopefully I can make time for finishing up one of those today. I already have one scanned in and am almost finished drawing another one. So my goal is to get that one scanned in and start another one. But my sis officially moves into her dorm tomorrow, so that will be a trying day for me physically and emotionally. It's tough to start a new stage of life. It really didn't his me until this week that everything is going to be different from here on out. That's sad, but also very exciting at the same time. When it's all sad and done, I'd much rather go through this change and start living my life rather than have thing stay the same forever. How boring would that get?!
On a lighter note, I noticed Stixx totaly Wu Chuned up her myOtaku site! It looks so awesome, I just sat there swooning at it for 5 or so minutes. *sigh* Wu Chun....

College Packing

It's a busy week work wise, but I acctually have a day off today. Much of this day has been spent packing for college. I had no idea of how much crap I've accumulated over the years ( Ahhhhhhhh!) Theres so much to do! This whole change of life thing is just starting to hit me! My sis is going next week! Once again, AHHHHHHH! Oh yes, and I have to postpone my new manga to come out with new Hobbit comics. I wanted to get them into a calender for my high school english teacher, who's favorite author is tolkien. Lucky for me. So I have 7 more of those plus a calender cover. Wish me luck. ^-^. I'll check up on all of you after this whole packing thing is over.

It's been a while ^-^

Man, has it been a while since my last post. I managed to get a few fan arts up but haven't really been able to get a good solid update up. This is mostly due to my little mini vacation that my sis and I, along with two awesome friends, made down to the beach. It was a lot of fun and the weather was beautiful until the day we left. So we we out a lot shopping and we even biked down to a beach that was close by. That proved to be hard on the tush but it was still a lot of fun. AAAnd we biked off most of the crap we ate lol. Gotta love greasy boardwalk food! We also saw a mother raccoon and her 5 or so babies, which was really neat because that's the irst time I've gotten a good look at a wild raccoon that wasn't a permanent part of the pavement lol. One disappointment, we watched all 4 1/2 hours of the Olympic Opening Ceremonies and no S.H.E. sigh. That wasn't too much of a damper because the opening ceremony was completely and utterly AWESOME!!!!!!. If any of you missed it I highly recommend that you look it up on youtube. Trust me, it is not something you would want to miss . Okay, so now I'm going to see what you all were up to while I was away for so long!
