Fourth of July!

I hope you all had a good Fourth of July and enjoy the rest of your weekend. I was able to see the fireworks today:

Instead of our original plan to watch them at the beach, we watched them at the park instead. We're planning to watch the new Transformers tomorrow. I'm excited for Sailor Moon Crystal and SAO2 as well. If anyone has seen the new Transformers movie, tell me what you think. I heard it was a pretty long movie.

I'm Back ^-^

I'm back ! I was glad to see that this page got more views. I'm almost to 8,000! . I haven't been doing anything on TheOtaku or DeviantArt, but I haven't stopped drawing, and my lifes good. I'm entering an Advanced Placement art class next year (I can get college credit!) and I have four projects due by the end of summer.

Now, a paragraph about band and school:
I found this hard to believe at first, but I actually made first chair (out of three tenor saxes) they are both older than I am. I recently figured out that one quit. The other is drum major, so.... Am I the only tenor sax marching???? And I really don't feel like a junior I still feel like a sophomore. High schools passing by, and its nothing interesting,

but its summer now. I hope I can remember to have a Kingdom Hearts post when there are seven days of my summer vacation left I recently finished watching Kimi Ni Todoka (soo adorable) /^ u ^

So thanks if you read this. Glad to be back. Maybe give me ideas of what to post more of.

Post to Post

Well, time to post

Lets see, last Thursday, our high school Wind Ensemble went to UIL competition and got all 1s in the concert and sightreading. After UIL is done, we get our concert music. Our music is Prelude to Psycho, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Highlights from FROZEN. Yeah, I'm pretty excited about playing these.

I also drew a chibi bilbo.

Well. So much for me teaching my brother how to draw. He was still okay with the idea at lunch, but after school he changed his mind. I was annoyed, but it can't be helped. He was talking about it all week. I wonder what made him change his mind.

In English, we're reading Night by Elie Wiesel. I happened to read it over the summer and it was sad, but good. If you haven't heard of it, it is the story of holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel. Of course, since the last time I read it was last August, I'll have to read it again if im going to do well on the tests over them. It also means that I'll have to take a break from reading The Hobbit.

I would also like to pray for those dealing with the tornados in south U.S. Where I live was not affected at all, but plenty of other places have been.

Is it Just Popular?

Does it seem right that people always pick on people that in their view seem lower than them? For example: Yesterday I was in my spanish class. These two that sit in front of me were constantly throughout the class period talking about fights. We had this assignment to be working on because we had a substitute teacher (It was a cool spanish worksheet about Superman), so I didn't hear most of their conversation. When the bell rang, they were still chatting and walking very slow, when one person points to me and says, "Now she would be fun to fight-One hitter quitter." The two then laughed and walked away. I don't even know her!
What she said offended me NONE, but people really believe that picking on people they believe to be weaker than them is fun? I believe that that just makes them a weaker person! I told my art friends about this story and they said that I would have a large group of people that would gang up on anyone that tried to fight me. We all laughed after this and they started to say that I wouldn't be the one to fight anyone (which is true. I'm not really mean towards anyone) No one in most of my other classes even talk to me, so I was happy I had my friends in my art class. I'm also thankful to have my friends on theO for always helping me

I'm working on a drawing of atlas. I'll draw p-body for my brother (Portal 2)

Artistic Abilities

I wanted to thank everyone for visiting my world. It means a lot to me. I have started to draw more in my free time since my english teacher has stopped giving us books to read. Ill start posting more art soon, maybe tomorrow!

In art class, we are doing ink blowing. (Dripping ink on a page and using straws to make it go different directions), which is really different from what I like doing (its so hard to control!) Anyway, she wants us to give abstract art a try.
I have finally decided that I want to major in graphic design. What is a good thing to use to start practicing that kind of stuff?

And

What are your opinions on the upcoming addition to SAO? Excited?
