'Ello again, world! OwO I just finished my Geometry assignment, so I'm gonna write some random things in Japanese! Here goes!

初めまして!私の名前はゆうこです。アニメとまんがが好きです。私は十四歳です。しかし、私は日本語がわかります。

Okay, I'm done. Imma go find something to do, so baibai!

Good Morning, World!

Well, it's morning where I am, at least. I'm currently sitting in the school commons, waiting for the bell to ring, kind of hyped up on coffee and Pop Tarts.

So, the cast list for Evita came in today. I play Evita's mother! :D The ironic thing is, though, that I bet that I'm not only younger than the girl playing Evita herself, but I'm probably younger than the people playing her sisters and brother as well! Not complaining, though. It's a lot better than just being in the chorus (although I also play a worker, which is the chorus). So I'm happy about how that turned out!

*Sigh*... The bell just rang. Now I have to go to stupid Freshman Seminar and present my PowerPoint on which car I'm going to have in my future... Oh well. It's only for an hour and twenty minutes. Baibai!

Auditions, Anime, and Other Things

Hey. I'm bored again. I'm really tired, though. I just came back from a rehearsal with our local impromptu choir, and AFTER a full day of school. Plus there were auditions for our second school play of the year right after school (we're doin' Evita! Woo!)

I'm listening to the string version of Dearest right now. Such a beautiful song.

So yea. I caught up on the latest episodes of Inuyasha: The Final Act last night. *SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN THIS EPISODE OR READ THE MANGA CHAPTER* Kikyo is dead. For good. I don't really care what you say, Kura-chan; that scene made me cry. I blame the music playing in the background (string version of Dearest). It was really emo. ;.;

Speaking o' Kura-chan, if you are reading this, YOU HAVE GOTTA FINISH THAT STORY! DAMMIT, YOU CAN NOT LEAVE ME HANGING LIKE THAT, WOMAN! *fumes* And just when it was getting good, too...

They blocked Google Translate on our school laptops. I have no idea why.

I HAVE A SCANNER AGAIN! YAY! That means I can start posting hand-drawn things again!

Until next time, baibai!

Moar Awesomeness

I just had to post this here. This guy is amazing (not to mention he looks pretty good in a kimono). Great song, too!

Quotes from a Play

I just wanted to post these. My mom headed off for a play performance that she's in. We have a small theatre group where I live, and she acts with them from time to time. The play they're doing right now is called Leading Ladies. The basic plot is that two struggling actors named Leo Clark and Jack Gable catch wind of a dying woman's last wish to see her two nieces Maxine and Stephanie, who she's planning to give two million dollars to in her will. Desperate for money, the two dress up as women to fool her and get the two million.

My mom plays Florence, the old woman who is searching for her nieces. I wanted to put in some quotes from the play that I thought were funny.

"One minute you're brushing your teeth, then whammo, you're a pillar of salt."
-Meg to her fiance Duncan, Act 1, scene 4

"If I were you, I'd get the hell out of here."
"Aren't you even a little surprised?"
"Why? Because I'm old? Now listen carefully. Old: smart. Young: nitwits. Now go!"
-Florence and Leo, Act 2, Scene 3

"You are the most obstreperous, abominable, loathsome, odious, deplorable, despicable, obnoxious, vile, detestable man I have ever met! And of course I'll marry you! You just had to ask! Now give us a hug!"
-Audrey to Jack, Act 2, Scene 3

"But you're not even pretty as a girl!"
"Look who's talking!"
"Well, I can't be too bad, because two men just kissed me on the lips!"
-Jack and Leo, Act 2, Scene 3

Yep, there actually were two instances of men kissing. I would think that would take some guts.

So there you have it. My four top favorite quotes from Leading Ladies. See ya!
