Welcome to the World of Randomness!

Some Tidbits About Me

Name: Yuuko (This is my Japanese name)

Age: 14 (But I can't get my permit yet 'cause it's started snowing where I live. Too icy.)

Grade: 9

Place of Residence: The US of A

Eye Color: Brown

Hair Color: Dark Brown (Too dark to be colored without bleaching)

Hobbies: Writing, drawing, singing, anime, chillaxin, learning Japanese

Favorite Anime/Manga: Bleach, Inuyasha, xxxHolic, Hell Girl, Mushi-shi, Ghost Stories

Likes: Anything to do with anime, men who look good in dresses (Jakotsu from Inuyasha comes to mind here), yaoi, sushi, video games, chocolate, the Northern Lights (pretty, but very rare until the next increase in solar activity), and people who are weird and proud of it!

Dislikes: Mushrooms (Raw edible ones are okay, but not the nasty canned kind), strong perfumes, and getting up in the morning. There's probably lots of other things, but I can't remember right now.

Current Favorite Song: Deep Forest by Kana Yazumi (Its a beautiful song)

Current Hero: Yamamoto Shigekuni Genryusai. I don't care that he's an anime character; any senior citizen that is perfectly capable of beating you into next week is awesome in my book. Plus he's got an awesome beard.

*You know how some people laugh when they see people in physical pain? (I can name off Kura-chan as one, the little sadist.) Well, I'm kind of the other way around. I prefer watching people become mentally scarred (I can also name off Kura-chan as one of my victims.) I know it's not nice, but I'm just kind of weird like that. I just prefer messing with peoples' minds.

*I have the interesting quirk of occasionally coming to the right answer using completely different logic then what is expected.

*My fingers bend backwards. I never thought it was weird until someone pointed it out in sixth grade.

That's all for now! Ta ta!

Jus' Sitting in the Dark

As the title says, I'm just sitting in my room. In the dark. Admiring the pretty Christmas lights outside. They're shiny...

I've been singing the chorus to Don't Cry For Me, Argentina repeatedly. It's a nice song. The musical itself is pretty good, too. There's a character named Che, and he's sort of the commentator on Evita's actions. He's awesome.

"As a mere observer, one must admire the stage management."
Guards start to close in on him.
"There again, maybe I'm not just a mere observer. Listen to my enthusiasm, gentlemen! Peron! Peron! Peron-- look, if I took off my shirt, would you--?"

This is random, but there is a cat who comes over to my house on occasion, who we call Mo. We don't know where he lives, or who he belongs to, but he always comes over to our house and scarfs up our cat food. And then he'll occasionally disappear for a few months, then suddenly come back as if nothing had happened. I'm guessing he might just go off looking for a mate.

So ya, randomness for the day. Baibai!

日本語!

'Ello again, world! OwO I just finished my Geometry assignment, so I'm gonna write some random things in Japanese! Here goes!

Okay, I'm done. Imma go find something to do, so baibai!

Good Morning, World!

Well, it's morning where I am, at least. I'm currently sitting in the school commons, waiting for the bell to ring, kind of hyped up on coffee and Pop Tarts.

So, the cast list for Evita came in today. I play Evita's mother! :D The ironic thing is, though, that I bet that I'm not only younger than the girl playing Evita herself, but I'm probably younger than the people playing her sisters and brother as well! Not complaining, though. It's a lot better than just being in the chorus (although I also play a worker, which is the chorus). So I'm happy about how that turned out!

*Sigh*... The bell just rang. Now I have to go to stupid Freshman Seminar and present my PowerPoint on which car I'm going to have in my future... Oh well. It's only for an hour and twenty minutes. Baibai!

Auditions, Anime, and Other Things

Hey. I'm bored again. I'm really tired, though. I just came back from a rehearsal with our local impromptu choir, and AFTER a full day of school. Plus there were auditions for our second school play of the year right after school (we're doin' Evita! Woo!)

I'm listening to the string version of Dearest right now. Such a beautiful song.

So yea. I caught up on the latest episodes of Inuyasha: The Final Act last night. *SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN THIS EPISODE OR READ THE MANGA CHAPTER* Kikyo is dead. For good. I don't really care what you say, Kura-chan; that scene made me cry. I blame the music playing in the background (string version of Dearest). It was really emo. ;.;

Speaking o' Kura-chan, if you are reading this, YOU HAVE GOTTA FINISH THAT STORY! DAMMIT, YOU CAN NOT LEAVE ME HANGING LIKE THAT, WOMAN! *fumes* And just when it was getting good, too...

They blocked Google Translate on our school laptops. I have no idea why.

I HAVE A SCANNER AGAIN! YAY! That means I can start posting hand-drawn things again!

Until next time, baibai!

Moar Awesomeness

I just had to post this here. This guy is amazing (not to mention he looks pretty good in a kimono). Great song, too!
