Gingerbread house!

hi to all again,

been a long time, huh? anyway i recently made a gingerbread house. not from a kit but homemade! i went to a friend's house and we made homemade gingerbread and decorated the house with candies. got a little sugar high that day, many of the candies went in my tummy not the house itself :)
now the house itself is a ruin. the roof is gone and all the candies were strip away :( it taste so good though!!!!!!!
anyway enjoy

the goats are dancing! Why!!!???

Today was actually interesting in my humanities (world values) class. We got a guest speaker and he is a scientist historian or a historian scientist, anyway a historian who's specialized in the history of science. I actually took notes from his lecture even though we weren't made to do so. He had a lot of interesting things to say like if it weren't for wars we would have reach the industrialized revolution sooner, which made sense to me. If we weren't busy on fighting and stuff we would have been more focus on inventing/concocting new tech stuff. Also i didn't realized how much war cost us, b/c of them technology and knowledge are always lost or destroyed. And then we have to start all over on how to create that new/lost tech and finding the lost knowledge.

Before he gave us the lecture he asked a few weird questions like "how did a bunch of goats helped start the American Rev.?"

Later on we learned that an Arab farmer left his goats by a tree with these unusual berries. When he came back they were dancing and acting wildly. This was how the Arab found coffee! Which led to coffee houses in the east and then to the Europe. LAter after this event came the Boston Tea party incident. After that the rich were left with no tea to drink so they had no choice but to join the poor/middle class ppl at the coffee houses. At the coffee houses everyone is stimulated by the caffeine and so everyone thought of great ideas, this then led to the American Rev.

This was interesting. I thought the question in the begginning was ridiculous and now it made sense :)

I also learned that in Ancient Sumerian there was no tax instead each person (i think excluding the priest) had to make mud bricks for two weeks!

The Persian created a lot of things! They knew how to use solar and wind power and this was like in the 500 BC! They made air conditioning too by controling the wind and structuring the building in a creative way.

anyway, after the presentation the only thing my classmates remembered were the goats :) i mean how can you forget them?

bugs in my soy sauce

so lately my mom has been having a lot of freetime and spend her time "organizing" the kitchen. "washing"(which is rinsing) the dishes and "wiping"(spreading the messes) on the table top. anyway about the soy sauce thing, she decided that it might be easier to pour them in a smaller bottle to use rather than grabbing the bigger bottle. so when i was pouring soysauce from the small bottle and into the bowl guess what i found...a beetle of some sort. poor thing died from drowning in the soy sauce. i told my mom and she was like "well just toss the beetle and well keep the sauce" and i was like "what? what if we get sick".(this won't be the first time i get foof poisoning from my mom) anyway she made me pour more soy sauce in a different bowl and guess what...there was a dead fly! told my mom again and she was like "how did it get there" and that's what i want to know too. then not wanting to risk our health and possibly our lives i tossed the whole darn thing and hoping i won't see another poor soul drowning in soy sauce.

i wish i would've taken a photo of this but it was all too traumatizing and i was running late for school!

So we'll make do with this( imagination is require)
