Hey everyone I am posting a short but sweet post today. I told everyone this would be up and I am very late with it. Dylan has not been feeling too good since last night. He ended up sick and spiked a fever and when that happened he had a seizure. So I have been by his side since this all started. He is taking a nap right now so I thought this would be the best time to get this up for you all. I am really sorry for not coming by to see you all and commenting, time is just not on my side any more like it uses to be.
I have to say I got tones of ideas for the Title for this year’s O Story (over 26 of them). It made it really hard to pick JUST 8 for you all to vote on, but between me and a few other of the writers we picked out 10 of the best ones for you… So with no farther ado here it is once more…
Story Summary:
While sitting on a bench enjoying some time to himself, Light Yagami had a chance encounter with a young woman named Oki Saito who can see Light’s shinigami companion, Ryuk. Wanting to know more about this intriguing woman, Light pursued Oki. Not only did Oki intrigue Light, but she also caught the eye of someone else, someone Light wished would just disappear from his life altogether… L.
As the months passed, things gradually turned into something more than Light expected. One day, Oki had her first real mishap with her illness. This incident caused Light’s true feelings for her to surface, leading to his confession. Oki found she felt the same way towards him.
The trio’s relationship grew until they were thrown for a loop. Something was drawing them closer and deeper in love, but that something could also drive a wedge between them forever. As L continued his search for Kira, he began to find Oki had more to do with what was going on than he ever expected. Oki had a hidden secret she revealed only to L. To top it all off, Light’s love for Oki was tested not only by Oki herself, but by L as well.
Will Light, Oki, and L forgive each other for what they have learned? Will their friendship and love be able to surpass even the toughest of times? Or, will they give into their individual desires of wanting to bring an end to Kira, make a perfect world, and only wanting to die with no pain and someone by her side?
This is a story of romance, mystery, and intrigue with Oki at the center of it all. Just what will happen in this complicated little tale all depends on… the Death Note.
