...but not really. This world is dedicated to my original characters. Here, I will post images not to be included in my portfolio as "fanart" because I don't want to, of my characters. I will also post info and maybe some chunks of stories that they appear in, that and other ideas that, for the life of me, I can't continue. At least not yet...
My brother said I should do a "revamption" of an old picture, this is the result. It's of my character Deacon, the Fire Dragon. You could see the old picture to the left. That was done back on 11/10/01.
Deacon spent most of his childhood alone, yet he was more than capable to take care of himself thanks to the teachings of his father. Due to this fact, he is a bit more experienced in battles than Jett, but he's more than happy to show her a few tricks while fighting. Contrary to his element, Deacon is very cool-headed and rarely lets his temper get out of control. He does, however, get dangerously angry whenever Jett is threatend of if any of his friends are in danger.
He has a little trouble eating ice-cream.
I think I could of done his dragon head a little better, I wanted it to look like flames.
Deacon was named by my older sister, after the character "Deacon Frost" from the first "Blade" movie.
This was done with prismacolor pencils, marker and pen.

This is a picture done in pencil of Jett with Dagger on her shoulder. He's a little annoyed that he's being treated like a pet
I remember that I recently watched "Howl's Moving Castle" when I drew this, that's why Jett resembles Sophie, what with her braided hair and the way her eyes where drawn.

This is a picture I did a few days ago of Dagger, Leader of the Star Dragons. Dagger's clan is charged with keeping order over the elemental worlds of their solar system. Order is lost however when the Death Dragons begin their take over, kill Dagger's wife and capture him. While he is being held prisoner, Karbon, Leader of the Death Dragons, casts a curse on him that prevents him from transforming into his human form. Dagger escapes eventually and arrives at the Water Dragons world just as it is being taken over by Karbon's soldiers. He is able to rescue Jett before they are able to get to her and takes her to a planet similar to Earth to go into hiding and he's been by her side ever since.
Dagger may look vicious, but he is very kind and wise. He is a little over-protective of Jett, especially when Deacon shows up. He is aware that Jett and Deacon are destined to be together, but he doesn't quite trust him yet and is quick to lash out at him if he gets too close to her. Dagger takes a liking to Fingers, after he is properlly introduced and gains the spirit power of his sister, Nova (a sun-dragon, I'll explain in another post).
Dagger is able to change his dragon size at will, but he can be frequently found at the size of an iguana, resting on Jett's shoulders.
He has a daughter named Psyche who is currently searching for him. She fled the Star Dragon kingdom before the attack.
I still need practice drawing dragons. The bottom right picture is Dagger's response to being called a "bloated newt" by Deacon.
This was mostly done with prismacolor pencils, ink and markers. The background is a paint drop fill done in ms paint.

This is a picture of Zoe and Bait, earth/rock dragons. They are the second set of elementals that Jett and Deacon meet at school. They are a little cold and mostly stick together. They also are the first ones to challenge Jett and Deacon to a duel.
I don't think I mentioned this before, but Jett and Deacon are the only dragons with the ability to harness the other elements beside their own. But they must first earn the right to control them by dueling the other elemental royal children and be victorious in the duel. The royal members of the element clans always have children in twins.
There's nothing really special on how Zoe and Bait got their names. I like the name "Zoe" and the name "Bait" stuck after I drew her being tied up over a nest of crocodiles.
Originally, Zoe and Bait looked very different from how they are shown here. But I was going through a Newtype magazine and I saw a picture of these two twin girls with green hair with the exact style of hair that I had first drawn Zoe and Bait. The anime was called "When they Cry" I think. I was a little deppressed, but decided to change their appearance. I think they look a little better.
Another blank line work filled in with ms paint. I was a little more caring when coloring this one though.
