And so he became stronger.

Once upon a time, there was a shaman.

He was shunned from all those around him. Everything about him was shifted to match other’s perspectives, though he was kind.

And so he gained friends.

Once upon a time, there was a brawler.

He was unloved by his family, and he had to fight to survive their attempts to kill him. His love for others managed to remain untouched.

And so he became a father figure.

Once upon a time, there was a loner.

He was shunned by those around him until he became contrary to the one he saw as the epitome of everything against him. Despite that he had a heart.

And so he gained a soul.

Once upon a time, there was a boy.

He was left alone in his village and angry at the world. He was taken in by one who would make him stronger.

And so he became a good person.

Once upon a time, there was a man.

After losing so much, he became desperate to protect those he loved. He would do anything it took to do so.

And so he gained a heart.

Once upon a time, there was a girl.

She lived with one who loved her, and who she loved back. She loved him so much, that when he was killed, she vowed revenge.

And so she faced life.

Once upon a time, there were dreams.

A visionary, a kid, a shaman, a brawler, a loner, a boy, a man, and a girl chased their desires, their wishes, their ideals, their everything.

And so the world had hope.

Author's Note: When I looked for SDK fanfiction I found nothing here, so I decided what better way to start things off than with a beginning sort of thing. It sort of took on a different form than what I'd planned, but I like it more this way. Although, I'm going to be sad if I find out my beginning got beat to the spot of first. Anyway, please feel free to insult my work if you feel the need to. I will take anything you say that has merit under careful consideration. Oh, and if you want to know who's who, just message me and I'll tell you.
