The OT3 Strikes Back

This has zero plot relevance but I reeeeally wanted to write a post. Maybe next time there will be something important? Heh... ^^'

Bridgette

I scratched idly at the back of my head. Thankfully, they only had to shave off a small portion of my hair to get to the brain chip who-zee what-zit. I could easily hide the annoying bit under the other layers, but that didn't stop it from itching like crazy.

They told me not to scratch at it... But it's so weeeeird. I wanna. I petulantly scratched at the stitches.

Lately I'd been spending a lot of time on my own. Normally this wouldn't bother me, but I'd been getting really attached to my new friends. I finally had people that I didn't have to hide from, and then they galloped off into the sunset with their respective love interests. Endlessly scrolling through my dashboard was quickly becoming tedious.

I laid my laptop to the side, stood from the bean bag chair, and endured the accompanying wave of blind nausea. Upon recovering my sight and balance, I ventured out into the tunnels of the bunker.

I quickly located the room that acted as a sort of common area. Griffin and Akira had set up a television with a DVD and VHS player. Various bean bag chairs surrounded the old couch, and the only light in the room was currently emanating from the TV. It appeared to be movie night.

I knocked on the door frame. "Yo. Whatcha watchin'?"

"The Little Mermaid. We're actually having a Disney marathon." Aerith answered sheepishly.

From what I could gather, the twins were arguing about Ariel's hair, Griffin seemed concerned at her trust in Ursala, Akira was exasperated with Griffin, Cyrus was just content to be there, Violett and Nodin stared unblinkingly at the screen, Locke stared suspiciously at Nodin, Karin was trying to mend things with Sebastian, Alice was skeptical of the whole thing, Acacia was falling asleep against Dante, Kateri was talking Vevila to death, and Ash was being harassed by Tommy in the corner.

Many of the newer members were being forced to attend a game night in order to "bond" with each other. Claire, Aine, Emil, Azul, and Kutari were a few that could be found seething at Monopoly in the next room over.

"Call me in when you guys get to Mulan, okay?"

Aerith gave me a thumbs up. "Will do!"

On my way out the door, however, I was suddenly tackled from behind.

"BRIDGEY!"

"Yes, hello, this is Bridgey."

Emery beamed. "I finished hanging with Solana, so now we can go bug sweet ginger! You in or what?" he asked, finally releasing me from his embrace.

"Yeah, except we can't." My face became grim. "She's off doing who-knows-what with Sam in the other game room. Again."

Emery's face darkened, as well. "That man is stealing our princess from us, and I do not like it one bit."

He pondered the situation for a moment before grabbing my hand and shouting out, "To the game room!"

The Disney lovers shushed him in protest.

We burst into the game room to find Ela and Sam playing Paper Mario on the GameCube. Needless to say, my excitement level went from 0 to 60.

"Move over, I own this boss." I plopped down on the couch and grabbed the controller from Sam's startled hands.

Emery forced his way between Sam and Ela, placing an arm around both of them. "So hey, what are you two up to?"

Ela was far from amused. "Oh, I dunno. We were just hanging out alone."

"Well don't you worry, ginger goddess, 'cuz you are alone no longer."

"Wow, you only leveled up FP. I'm gonna have to superguard everything now."

Ela glared at me while Sam mostly seemed uncomfortable. I smiled in victory and swapped out my party member. Vivian was a way better choice for this battle.

Emery grinned deviously. "Soooo, Ela. How about a repeat of last night, hm?"

"Excuse me?"

"You know... You, me, and Bridgette. Doin' the do."

Sam sputtered immediately. "When did this happen?! A-All three of you?!"

"It happened last night. Honestly, how have you not yet heard of our scandalous affair?"

Ela looked murderous while Emery and I gave each other "bedroom eyes."

"I, uh, wasn't aware that you three were like that." The silence grew awkward as Sam became increasingly troubled. Ela was probably going over all the ways that she could torture us slowly.

Sam then cleared his throat. "So uh, how is Ash doing lately? Is she still trying to-"

I abruptly slammed down the controller, fiery anger now coursing through my veins.

"Ash is a boy and you will respect his gender in my presence. Furthermore, it is polite to respect his gender in any environment, whether one of us is here or not! Maybe he is still transitioning, but so what?! That doesn't make him any less of a boy than you. He just doesn't have his hormones yet! He still needs to undergo his surgery! If you don't think it's hard to get T in this situation then you can... can... What? What is it?"

Ela, magically transformed from irate murderess to giggly teenager, could no longer hold in her laughter. "Good Lord, Bridgette, I'm dying."

Emery was shocked, and a little confused at my outburst, while Sam looked completely and utterly terrified.

"Oh God," Ela wheezed, "I have to go tell Ash about this. Whew... I'll explain later, Bridgette, but right now I just can't."

With another wave of laughter, Ela exited the room.

Unfortunately, the atmosphere turned awkward once more at Ela's sudden departure. Emery flipped himself upside down on the couch, feet holding him up and head hanging down near the floor.

"Hey, Sam."

"Uh, yes?"

"Do you wanna see a dead body?"

"I'm just... Gonna go," Sam offered, hastily exiting in turn.

A few moments passed before I decided to accept the events that just occurred and move on. I had to play this game file the right way anyway.

"So that was pretty weird, but I'm gonna count it as a win for Team Anti-Sam. The OT3 lives on!" Emery fell off of the couch with a thud.

SHORT SHORT, TOO SHORT. And I'm not even going to make excuses for that ending. I don't even know what happened. ;_;
