To Germany!

Akira

After all of the hustle and bustle of packing and constant questioning of why we were going to Germany, I finally got everyone into the car and we went on our way. No matter what, I felt something weird was going to happen when we left the house and got to the airport. Once we got on the airplane though, I had a feeling of nostalgia as we got on it. It was just like the first time all of us got on a plane together, going to go and get the next person to join the club, but this time, things were different. We were heading to go and find out what we truly were, what XL was truly doing, and who was behind it all.

“Akira?” I turned my head to Griffin, who had decided to sit beside me. I smiled a little as I turned towards him completely. He smiled a little as he grabbed my hand and squeezed. He seemed relaxed but also concerned, possibly for me.

“Is everything alright?” Griffin asked and I hesitated before nodding. “Akira, why are we going to Germany? I know, what with our memories, that we need to find out more, but what if this was a trap?” I narrowed my eyes and Griffin took back his hands and held them up in surrender. “All I mean is, what if Xenogenesis Laboratories knows that we are doing this, that we are heading for your brother?” He nervously asked and I sighed, relaxing once more. Griffin lowered his hands as he saw that I was relaxing.

“My brother disappeared off of the map and normally, that would mean that he’s dead, but when I called him, he wasn’t. He set us up with the tickets and everything else. I trust my brother, Griffin. I know that you would do the same, no matter what, for Cyrus,” I told him and he nodded in agreement after a small hesitation of thinking.

“I am sorry, Akira. I did not mean to-” I shook my head as I grabbed his hand.

“It’s okay, wyvern,” I chuckled as I looked at him. As he looked at me, I could see a sudden light in his eyes as if he got an idea. “What?” I laughed a little as he moved himself a little and undid his seatbelt.

“Come here,” He said and I looked at him.

“What?” I asked him and he chuckled.

“Well, you have not really slept that much. How about you sleep... with uh me?” His cheeks turned red as he asked this and blushed brightly as well.

“Um... alright,” I told him as I unbuckled my seatbelt as he turned off the lights we were already using to see since the rest of the plane’s lights weren’t on. I moved myself onto Griffin’s lap and he wrapped his arms around me once I got comfortable.

“I’m not used to this,” I told him in a whisper and he chuckled.

“Nor am I,” He said. “I read about this in a book once and I thought it might be appropriate, given that we are... together, as a couple?” He asked, unsure if we actually were one. I giggled.

“You read too many books, Griffin. And yes, I kind of thought that were one, a couple,” I told him with a smile and he blushed.

“Like... boyfriend and girlfriend? Those are the correct terms?” I laughed as I looked up at Griffin as he held me to him and I put my head against his chest. God, he was warm... Must be the scales.

“Yes, those are the correct terms, Griffin,” I said and he looked down at me and pushed my hair behind my right ear. He leaned down and put his forehead against mine and he smiled as he put his finger under my chin and kissed me lightly. I was surprised that he was the one kissing me, not I being the one kissing him instead, but I liked it. He broke it off and looked at me, a sudden worried look upon him.

“Do you think your brother will like me?” I stifled my laugh.

“Of course he’ll like you, Griffin. He’ll just want to talk to you... probably a lot,” I laughed and his worried look stayed and we talked for a little bit more about how he shouldn’t be worried until I got sleepy and eventually fell asleep.

“Akira, wake up.” I stirred in Griffin’s arms and I felt his hands move up and down my arms. “Akira, it is morning,” Griffin told me, his voice now being clearer and I smiled a little.

“I wanna sleep, Griffin. I don’t like mornings,” I mumbled and he laughed and I could feel his head against mine.

“Well, I want you up... Please?” He asked and I giggled and opened up my eyes and I saw him smiling above me. He helped me sit up and get comfortable once more as I rubbed my eyes and one of the attendants that was walking by stopped and smiled.

“Would you like anything for breakfast, you two?” She asked and I shook my head and Griffin looked at me weirdly and ordered two muffins. The woman grabbed two muffins off her cart and handed Griffin them. I stared at him as he plopped one on my lap.

“How long have you been up?” I asked him and he looked down at me.

“For just an hour or so. I’ve been talking to Karin, who seemed to be the only one up at the time. Is that alright that I did so?" Griffin asked and I nodded.

"Yes, I'm not bothered by that. Just... why muffins?" I asked him and he shrugged.

“Are they not the proper breakfast item on planes?” Griffin asked and I tried to stifle a laugh.

“Well, we normally don’t have first class tickets and they only serve muffins to first class, so no, normally, they aren’t served for breakfast on planes. Only to first class, not to coach,” I told him and he looked at me with a confused look on his face and I sighed and explained the difference between first-class and coach. Griffin started to argue the fact of why can’t everybody be equal and why does only first-class get the nice stuff and I continued to explain things. We both got eventually tired of arguing and gave up and ate.

After we ate, some of the other members of the club started to talk to us and distract us, and of course, Violette, asked a question everybody was intrigued in. I actually was too.

“Hey, Akira, could we go clubbing since we’re in Germany? All of us are legal to go clubbing since the age is sixteen to club,” Violette asked and I pondered it for a second. We seriously could go clubbing. It was legal there after all and if I remembered right, none of us were under sixteen. It would be fun.

“Sure, just as long as you don’t get lost or go off anywhere and keep in contact, sure,” I smiled and the club members that were around me cheered and clapped. Most of them went back to their seats after that because we were getting close to landing in Munich, Germany.

“What is clubbing, Akira?” Griffin asked and I smiled as I went back to my seat and buckled myself in.

“It’s dancing in a club with a lot of sweaty people around you and people are drinking, splattering other people with glow stick paint, having headaches from the strobe lights, grinding-”

“What is this “grinding,” Akira?” Griffin asked. “I have heard this term before on “Tumblr,” and I have been wondering what it is,” Griffin asked and I looked at him incredulously. Did he just seriously ask what grinding was? And since we did he have a Tumblr?

“Since when did you ever have a Tumblr, or to put more simply, when did you ever get into social networking sites?” I asked him and he pondered it for a second.

“Well, Violette-” I held my hand and stopped him mid-sentence. Of course. Violette.

“Never mind. And grinding is... um...” I had no idea how to explain grinding. “Grinding is basically... moving your body up against someone for pleasure,” I cleared my throat as my cheeks started to burn in embarrassment for just having to explain this topic.

“Pleasure?” Griffin asked, his eyes slightly narrowed with intrigue in them. Oh please, don’t be one of the guys that does like grinding.

“... Sexual pleasure,” I said quietly, making sure that nobody else around me would hear me and Griffin blushed slightly and nodded.

“Ah,” was all he said until we landed in Munich, Germany. The landing was bumpy and unsettling as we landed and that was the only thing about planes I didn’t like was the landing. No reason really behind it. It was just unsettling.

Once we were allowed to unbuckle and get our bags, I turned on my cellphone and once it booted up, I immediately got a call. It startled me to see it being Charlie. I flipped open the phone and held it to my ear.

“Charlie?” I called into the phone and at first there was no response. I just heard yelling and a car engine roaring. After a few minutes, I got a response.

“Akira? Are you in Munich?” I heard him call, as if the phone on his end was on speaker.

“Yes, I am. Why? What’s that noise in the background?” I called but just as I said that, I heard gunshots in the background.

“Akira, what-” I held up a hand to Griffin to have him stop talking so that I could hear Charlie. Most of the club was pausing as they got their stuff as they overheard me talking to Charlie.

“Some XL bastards found me and my fiance out in town. I destroyed their base not too long ago but not all of the men were killed. The last bit of men are chasing me right now. We can get rid of them no problem. Just don’t come to the house for about a week, okay?” He called into the phone, sounding a lot more serious than I expected.

“Alright, just... are you sure you don’t need any help?” I asked and all he did was laugh.

“We can handle these idiots. Komm schon, ihr Bastarde! Komm und hol mich!” Charlie laughed and I heard a few more gunshots before the phone cut off. I took the phone away from my ear and stared at it for a minute, thinking about what we could do. It was a good thing all of the humans left the plane and the whole club was left.

“What’s going on, Akira?” Sebastian asked as he stood not too far away from me.

“Well, Charlie... he’s in a bit of trouble but he can handle himself. He doesn’t want us coming to the house for a week,” I told him and everybody started to protest.

“So we just came here for nothing?” Ela yelled, her voice being the most prominent out of the whole group. The only ones that were quiet were Karin, Sebastian, Griffin, Ash, and Tommy.

“Hang on, just because we’re here now doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. We’ll stay at a hotel, club, do whatever. Maybe we can even find some other creatures and have them join us. Point is, we’re staying. I’m not going to make this a wasted trip,” I told them all and a lot of them glared at me, probably telling me off in their heads or probably debating that they wanted to leave the club for my incompetence.

“Listen to what Akira has to say,” Tommy pitched in and my head whipped to him and I couldn’t help but stare. “The only thing we can do is trust her and her judgement. Let’s have fun while we have the chance, huh? Charlie is apparently busy, and I’m guessing it’s with Xenogenesis Laboratories. He’s probably dealing with them. Can’t we just have fun, guys?” Tommy asked and a lot of them stared at him but I knew nobody would trust him. It was only until Karin piped up that everybody relaxed.

“Guys, so what if we’re stuck here? We can still have fun... can’t we? Besides, there’s a lot to do in Germany since we’re here. We can be tourists and be normal... in our own way. Come on, guys, please?” Karin asked and the club thought for a few seconds before agreeing. Why is that nobody will listen to me but will listen to Karin? I don’t get it. Just seeing this discouraged me. Was I even a good leader to begin with?

After everybody calmed down, we all grabbed our bags and headed out of the plane. Once we grabbed our bags from the bag drop off, we headed over to the rental cars and got a few cars for the whole group. It was an ugly amount of money but that’s what happens when you get stuck in Germany. The only good thing that was good about it was that I was rich and it was no problem using the money to get the cars or whatever. I just don’t like being rich.

Once we got into cars, we all followed Sebastian, since apparently he had been here a few times when he was a child, to a five-star hotel and once we got ourselves checked in and got settled in our rooms, about half of us headed out and half of us stayed in our rooms. Griffin and I had decided to stay in a room together since he felt that it was safer with him in it, which I didn’t mind at all. I had quickly changed though into dancing clothes.

We had both decided to head on out, but before I did, I went to find Sebastian, who was staying with Karin in their room. Once I entered the room, everything seemed to go silent. Vevila was in the room for some reason, smiling and was staring at Sebastian as she sat next to him. Sebastian honestly looked sick to his stomach. Had he not been feeding that much? This was the specific reason I needed to talk to him anyways.

“Seb, can I talk to you?” I asked him and his eyes twitched to me. It was odd how his electric green eyes had been changed to a dark, blood red color. His hand was twitching as it lay by his side.

“Why?” He asked, his voice on edge.

“I just need to. Just come outside, will you?” I asked him a little softly and he got up hesitantly and walked past Vevila and over to me, closing the door behind him.

“What’s wrong? It seems like you haven’t eaten for days, maybe months. What’s wrong, Seb?” I asked him and he avoided my eyes, trying to distract himself.

“Um... I... I haven’t eaten, no. Not since we escaped the labs, and not even before then. They starved me in there,” He said as his tongue flicked over his sharp teeth.

“So you do remember?” I asked him, only slightly interested. I had had a feeling he did remember.

“Of course. After Karin had fainted, I had to leave because that triggered the memories... I didn’t feed though. Karin’s been... keeping me on a bit of a leash when it comes to feeding myself,” He said hoarsely. “Vevila’s... been the only one helping me, or at least, she’s the only one that can help me. She understands... feeding,” Seb said and I stared at him because his eyes finally met mine.

“Vevila’s the only one that can help you? Seb, come on. I have my full moon crap. I can help-”

“NO, YOU CAN’T!” Seb yelled, which made me shut up. I wasn’t expecting that... He was irritated beyond belief and he was twitching a lot more since he said that. He had a bit of crazy eyes as well. I sighed.

I jumped though in the next second as the door opened and there stood Vevila. She closed the door and walked over to Seb.

“Now, Sebastian, we talked about this on the plane. Control it,” She smiled as she put one of her ugly fingers under Sebastian’s chin and directed his attention to her. He stared at her for a few seconds before calming down.

“Now, Akira, I hope you don’t mind, but I hope you can understand me helping Sebastian sneak out to feed. He’s a wreck and that little bunny of his won’t let him feed,” Vevila said in an almost whine.

“Of course I understand. You just have to tell Karin eventually and that you don’t make Sebastian cheat on Karin for your own personal gain,” I told Vevila and she rolled her eyes.

“Come on, Akira, he’s a vampire. I couldn’t associate myself with him. Besides, he’s only got eyes for Karin... whether it’s either to feed on her or to love her. I wouldn’t do that to this guy who only needs help,” She smiled and I narrowed my eyes.

“Fine. Just know that I’m keeping an eye on you, Vevila,” I told her coldly and she just laughed it off and I left them to talk to find Griffin waiting for me near our door.

“Are you ready?” Griffin asked and I nodded with a smile, relaxing as I took his hand.

“Yeah, let’s go clubbing,” I told him and he smiled and we walked over to the elevator.

“Is the garment you wear easier to dance in? I have been meaning to ask for a while,” Griffin asked and I looked down at myself as we got into the elevator.

I was dressed in a loose, blank tank top that had a thin black cover over it, and in blue jean short-shorts. I also was wearing black high heels that twisted up my leg in a fishnet design. Griffin was holding my purse, which didn’t help him look manly, though his suit fixed that. I didn’t care that my porcupine quills were sticking out slightly and my ears were being covered by the black fedora hat I was wearing. I didn't care that it was cold outside either. My tail was swinging back and forth though in excitement. And of course, I was wearing the bracelet I had gotten from Griffin only yesterday.

“Yes, normally. I don’t always go dancing, but this is what girls normally wear,” I told him and he blushed as he looked at me and I pressed the lobby button.

“Well, you look... um...” Griffin stated and I looked at him in curiosity.

“I look what?” I asked and he blushed more as we headed down in the elevator.

“I cannot seem to find the proper word to-”

“Do you mean sexy, Griffin?” I asked him and he blushed. His face was pure scarlet.

“Um... well, I am not sure if that is the correct way to describe how you look... Maybe it is, I am not sure,” He gulped and I laughed a little as I blushed.

“It’s okay that I am that way, Griffin. It’s okay if you want to call me that,” I cleared my throat a little in embarrassment. “I’m just not used to being called that... Nobody’s ever complimented me in that way, at least,” I told him and he looked at me.

“Well, I do not understand why they never did compliment you,” He stated and I shrugged.

“Neither do I,” I told him as I grabbed his hand as the elevator door opened to the lobby and we headed out of the hotel. It was a nice night out to dance in Munich. It was a good thing most Germans spoke English because of how many human military troops from America are stationed here.

Once we got directed to the nearest nightclub, I couldn’t help but smile a little. I couldn’t wait to dance, especially with Griffin.

SO! Hopefully this'll get everyone to post again and get this club up and running again! I know a bunch of people want to continue, or at least, find out what is up with everybody and XL, so here we go! Going clubbing for a while, with a lot of posts hopefully, and then we will go and talk to Charlie who has who-know-what information~ xD

Wyvern-chan will continue for Griffin of course, but this is free for all until I feel like we need to go and talk to Charlie xD

Let's get posting, people!
