Anything in Spoiler Text is just redundant because they're twins.

Character's Full Name: Toño Sorrel Keith
Pronunciation: TOHN-YOH
Species: Bakru; Fairies of South America that look like children made partially from wood. Bakru are said to have been said to be purchased by magicians who sell them in pairs, but only a magician could keep the mischievous fairies under control. Half flesh, half wood.
Abilities: When in any kind of skin (not wood) contact with her twin sister Rano, she can read her thoughts. She’s very strong for her age and packs a punch with the hardwood on her knuckles.
Age: Unknown. Appears to be about 13.
Height: 5’3”
Hair: Long, dark brunette hair streaked with different shades of brown. It comes down to about her belly button. Her thick bangs border her face.
Eye Color: Dark brown
Skin Color: Her skin is mostly made of weaving brown finished wood, but where her humanoid skin shows through in patches, it is like a very tan caucasian.
Personality: She’s rather dark and serious without meaning to be. While her sister giggles loudly, she barely cracks a smile. She almost never makes eye contact. People think of her as too mature for her age, like a woman trapped in a little girl’s body. When she gets excited or riled up, she can be quite fierce if she gets carried away...
Looks: Her wooden skin is covered in little nicks and scratches that catch in the light. She refuses to let her sister buff them away. To her boyish tendencies, they make her feel like she has gnarly battle scars. As well, she feels they give her some individuality from her identical twin.
Appearance: A walking wooden sculpture with smooth, finished skin. Most people assume it’s street performance get up, like the bronze men or silver statues who stand motionless on the sidewalks.
Outfit/Style: A tad tomboy-ish compared to her sister’s. Skinny jeans / jean shorts / capris, tank tops, t-shirts, long-sleeved blouses, huge baggy shirts. She has a couple outfits that compliment her sisters. She alternates wearing her hair up and down.
Likes: Her scars, Animals, Adventure, Water, Soil, Bright Sunlight, Being with Rano
Dislikes: Being ignored or treated like a thing, Anyone who picks on her sister, Being underestimated or judged.
Strengths: She’s especially fierce when it comes to protecting her sister.
Weaknesses: If her wooden skin is terribly scarred, it can never be replaced (Scratches can be finished or buffed away, though.)
Fears: Fire, Axes, Woodpeckers
Relationships: She’s only just beginning to understand social interaction, since she’s never been able to speak with anyone but her sister. She isn’t scared or put off by it; she just doesn’t know how to go about it. She doesn’t realize that her expression can deter people from trying to speak to her. She’s often content when people think she looks brooding. She may not be good with people, but she’s pretty good with animals.
Family: Her identical twin sister, Rano.
History: A South American magician created them many years ago in the streets of Las Vegas, Nevada. They can’t remember much of it, but they were sold to a greedy trader they both grew to hate. They were less his beloved daughters and more his prized possessions. However, the man’s greed got the best of him when he bet Toño and Rano at the casinos in a desperate attempt to get out of debt, and lost. Their new owner was just as bad as the first, if not worse, but he didn’t know about their mind reading abilities. By communicating with Rano in secret -- they were able to escape the man during the move and make it out on the streets with their luggage. Passersby often took pity on them because of their apparent age and flicked them plenty of change. They were able to sustain themselves, for awhile at least...
