Not A Good Day

EDIT:: Okay, so actually anybody can post right now, I'll leave it up to you how you can have Akira find them :) All you have to do is go and look at what Akira said to Sebastian and there you go :)

Akira

After what seemed forever, he finally agreed to join the club, but just as long as I somehow maintain my anger and I don’t cross him, it would be fine. Fine with me. He was still rude. I wasn’t having a great day.

“Wyvern. I am a Wyvern. Get it right!” I rolled my eyes as I walked out the door and Griffin followed with a bag on his back. I looked around for Karin and found her hiding in a bush. I smiled a little.

“It’s fine, Karin,” I called to her and she popped up out of the bushes and walked to me and looked at Griffin with big eyes.

“He looks... scary,” Karin whispered to me and I just scoffed. He honestly didn’t even look similar to the word scary. He looked more boring for a word than scary. He honestly just pissed me off more.

I looked around as we got to the street and rubbed my hands together. I honestly needed a ride to get back to the airport and there weren’t any good cars here and the train probably wasn’t running right now. I highly doubted that Dragonboy would fly us to the airport so I needed a car. The one thing I wish my father had never taught me was how to hotwire a car. And the best car here was a gigantic car that seemed more American made than European made.

“Well, we need a ride so I’ll just hotwire a car,” I sighed and Karin started to protest and I just turned my head to her. She saw my glare and she quieted down.

“Look, I don’t like doing it either. But my father taught me, and I hate doing it, but we need a ride to the airport,” I sighed as I started to walk to the car and that’s when Griffin chimed in.

“The airport? Why are we going there?” Griffin scoffed, as if it was an insult to him. Well, he has wings. It would be an insult to him. Did it look like I cared?

“Well, let’s see. We need to get back to America,” I said sadistically, not wanting to explain. “How could the club even exist in Europe when only one of us, who’s in France, mind you, knows a different language, besides Japanese?” I asked as I turned around to him and tilted my head with a frown on my face. He just rolled his eyes with a simple scoff and I continued to walk towards the car that I was going to hotwire.

Once I got over to the car, I pried the door open and got underneath the car while Karin was hopping around the open door nervously.

“Akira, we’re going to be caught,” Karin said nervously and I just laughed a little as I grabbed the two wires I need and started to spark them together and I heard the engine turn over a few times before keeping steady and the car purring softly.

“I’m already done, Karin,” I laughed and she quickly got to the other side of the car and got in the backseat.

“I will drive. I know the streets better than you do,” Griffin spoke up as I got up out of the floor of the driver’s seat and stared at him when I got up on my feet. I obviously wasn’t going to win this battle.

“Fine,” I sighed as I walked over to the passenger seat and slipped in, not paying attention to where my tail was and sat on. I squealed in pain, trying to keep my yell under control and got up once more and got my tail out of the way and sat down once more. Water came to my eyes as I sat down and Griffin just stared at me before driving off and heading towards the airport. I made sure to put on my cap and stuff my tail back into my khakis before getting comfortable in my seat.

We drove in silence and what seemed to be at least fifteen to thirty minutes later, Karin spoke up quietly.

“Umm... H-Hi. I’m Karin. You’re... Griffin, right?” I turned my head to look at Karin and then glanced at Griffin. All he did was roll his eyes and scoff while keeping his eyes on the road. Karin looked downwards at her feet afterwards with her face completely flushed from embarrassment.

“Hi,” he snapped coldly, not bothering to even give a glance to her.

I looked over at Griffin and then just turned back to the window.

“*sshole,” I murmured and I heard no reply from him as he continued to drive.

It was a while before we got to the airport, where I knew Sebastian and Acacia would be arriving in.

“We’re meeting two other friends here and then we’ll all head back to America if we don’t need to make any more stops,” I sighed and looked back at Karin as we got out of the car and headed inside. She seemed to be quieter than normal but then again, she would only be this way because of how Griffin replied to her introduction. She wasn’t used to being responded coldy to, at least in the most part a polite ‘hi’ would make her day from somebody new.

We all headed up into the airport in silence and once we got to the certain floor, we sat down, waiting for the plane to land. There wasn’t anybody else around as we sat and waited for the plane to land so maybe... I could bring out the laptop. I’m sure Griffin would love to know how I knew about him.

I swung my bag around and slid my laptop out of it. Once I opened it up, I clicked on the link and made sure there weren’t any cameras around me and thankfully, there wasn’t so I looked over at Griffin.

“Dragonboy,” I called out to him since he was across the room, sitting alone, and his head shot up and he stared at me.

“I told you, it is Wyvern!” He growled and I rolled my eyes.

“Do you want to find out how I knew about you while we wait?” I called to him and he got up immediately and moved over to me. He kept his bag in hand as I moved the laptop just enough for him to see.

“This is how I found you,” I told him simply as I clicked on his dot and it showed everything about him. He leaned in closer.

“What is this?” He murmured and I looked at him.

“I found a hard drive in my room, something I had no idea about it being in, and decided to hook it up to my computer. I found that this hard drive contains every single bit of information about every mythological creature in the world. I don’t know how it tracks us, but it does. It was how I was able to find you,” I told him and he was silent, probably still considering if I was some sort of stalker or something of the like.

“And it looks like...” I zoomed out from Griffin’s name and saw that Sebastian and Acacia were almost here. “... Sebastian and Acacia are almost here but it seems... there is another we need to go and get... even more...” I sighed as I looked at Italy and saw someone named Dante and another named Ash in England and even more. Okay, after them, I wanted to go home. Or maybe I could just send them a letter or something telling them to come. I could make Sebastian go and we just tag along. I had no idea yet.

“So... besides the fact that you found this and are getting people to come join this... club of yours, what is the reason for you bringing all of us creatures together?” Griffin muttered to me and I looked at him, my eyes narrowing.

“What do you mean?” I asked and he just blinked, his stare not going off of me.

“What is the true reason we are joining you? Is it for our safety? Or is it simply for the purpose of defeating 'something?'” he air-quoted and I just stared at him. What was he trying to get at here?

“I haven’t found out all of the information I actually need. I still need to work myself into the system, see what’s really going on. Now, why-”

“What I mean is, what is your reasoning in all of this? Why bring us together when you could possibly do this job on your own? You obviously seem to be doing just fine when you are alone on that computer,” He just glared at me, like I just brought him into a hellhole.

“What, are you saying you coming is pointless? Nothing you can do yourself can help us find out what is actually going on, like let’s see, why we can be tracked?” I asked and he just stood up.

“You do not seem to be much of a leader.” He obviously avoided my question like a piece of paper floating in the wind. “You seem incompetent in learning the fact that what you are doing, bringing us together, is destroying our lives by having us join you and do nothing while you sit around and do the work yourself.” I stared at him. I closed my laptop and stood up to meet his eyes. Sure, he was taller, but he was pissing me off either way.

“I’m destroying your life?” I asked, my voice rising and a laugh was added to it.

“That is exactly my point,” Griffin said as he folded his arms and put a frown on his face. I put my hands on my hips and advanced towards him.

“So taking you away from you doing nothing, saving innocents and punishing the criminals in that town made you honestly feel like you were doing something, when all you were doing is making up for your own crimes, stealing as a matter of fact, when it honestly just did nothing? When you could actually help find out what’s going on, I can track you and come back every week, asking you if you would join. I would be annoying to you-” He interrupted again.

“Now, look here... Wait, how did you even know that?” And that started the yelling in an empty airport and Karin curling up in a ball and covering her ears. I honestly didn’t mean for Karin to be experiencing it, since I knew she hated yelling, but I couldn’t help it.

This was going to make a difference. We were all going to collect information, help figure what was really going on, and stop whoever was behind this. There was a tracking system will all of our names on it and obviously, this didn’t make any difference to Griffin and I knew for a fact, with that reaction in his house, that he wanted to know, see who was behind this. Why people were tracking us was a problem. I had a feeling that just somebody else had this information besides me and that they would try and find all of us. They could figure that we were getting together.

But no, Dragonboy had to see otherwise.

“Guys!! You two, shut up!!” I turned my head and saw Sebastian and I guess Acacia, standing outside of the platform where they arrived and they both were just staring at us while adjusting the bags on their backs.

“What is going on??” Sebastian exclaimed and I just felt all of the anger rise up in me so I just stormed off, going off towards a coffee station that was in English instead of Greek.

“One coffee with four shots of espresso in it,” I told the guy behind the counter while slapping the money on the counter from my pocket and he just nodded and started on my coffee. I needed to blow off steam and I had no other way besides to drink coffee. Besides, being in a bad mood wasn’t always my forte.

“Akira!!” I turned my head and saw Sebastian storming over to me and I just rolled my eyes as I got handed my coffee and just started to gulp it.

“What is with you? You’re all worked up and pissed and it wasn’t exactly great seeing you yelling at Griffin when I walked in,” Sebastian exclaimed and I swallowed the coffee before answering him.

“Wait until you meet Griffin. He’s a real... joy,” I spat as I brought the coffee to my lips again and took a swing.

“Well, we need to get going back home.” I shook my head and Sebastian just stared at me.

“Where are we going now?” He sighed and I just blinked.

“Anywhere, because with how many dots I saw left on this side of the world, it's going to take a while,” I sighed as he guided me back to the group. Karin and Acacia were conversing while Griffin just sat alone, looking pissed.

“Just make sure, when we get on the next plane, to keep him away from me,” I pointed to Griffin and I saw Griffin look over and narrow his eyes.

Whatever. This was not my day.
